I'd absolutely grab an Escapist user podcast - it'd make for very good listening on the way to work

I don't know exactly what the things we talk about and such will be, but there are an infinite amount of subjects, from tabletop gaming to music to books to TV...Really, the possibilities are endless.

The great thing is that a group of interesting people (which is most people on the Escapist) with similar interests almost always makes for good listening, no matter the subject. I'd enjoy listning to people just ramble, to be honest

It is a great idea, though we would need to organize it quite thoroughly in order to be as professional as possible. The topics could be just current events, preferably the more controversial ones.

Even if this has failed before, I'm pretty determined. If no one else even contributes(but the odds are they will, considering the size of the group) I will take it upon myself to talk for a while, edit it about, and do all of that stuff. Basically, I am prepared to do everything that other people aren't prepared to do.

What if we were to get together a bunch of people from The Escapist and make a weekly podcast, where we talk about...things? Anecdotes, video games, really anything. Just a weekly, user-run podcast that we can listen to and have fun with.

This has been tried several times before. So far no attempt has yet born fruit. Let's hope this one is more productive. If so, I'd be happy to help.

Well, with 26 members already, I don't see how we'll produce NOTHING. Something is gonna come out of this, it's really just the size of the thing that matters.

What I'm thinking we'd need now is subject matter for each week(perhaps we can keep it aligned with the actual magazine's subjects?), people to talk, and maybe someone to edit. I'm not sure how well I could edit audio together, but I can definitely do some talking. Well, what do you think? Good idea? Bad idea? Want to help? Maybe I could even set up a usergroup for this? Let's chat.

It's based around The Escapist, so much will be from members, but if administrators want in then it is not a problem.

Both. The selected ones will be chosen on a case-by-case basis considering what's interesting and entertaining to listen to.

Reviews, news, anecdotes, interviews, maybe some editorial stuff.

As for right now, me. Pretty quickly, I am getting around to adding a few people as administrators(namely, the head editor person and the guy who keeps everything running smoothly.)

I haven't talked to any administrators about it yet. I'm assuming Kuliani is the guy to go to, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
