Yeah, I was thinking we could record Teamspeak [http://www.teamspeak.com/] conversations, and get the host to upload them to the site as podcasts. Podcasts are definitely the way to go, radio is localised, this is a worldwide community. Simple.

well we now aren't allowed to use music..I have just been informed its copyright infringement.... even though fair use policies could come into effect AND we could make a convincing argument that it can generate album sales.....*sigh*
i think this is a brilliant idea. just needs to be done right. it would be cool to do it community bassed so any poster here can add to the show. it would be great as a commmunity based podcast. im very down, and willing to throw in my (limited) resources

There were four episodes of Escapist Radio, which was pretty much the old crew of Gamers With Jobs Radio, meaning Russ Pitts and Sean Sands. I enjoyed the four that were released quite a bit, but after a "We'll be taking a little break" message it fell off the face of the site forever.
I'd listen/subscribe. Hell I might even feature, that is if the royalties are good enough.
