I'm cheap since I'm just using the Tron Legacy mousepad that came free from Total Film magazine. I still got their Ironman 2 hologram mousemat they gave it ages ago (it underneath the Tron mousepad).

I'm using a iPad tablet computer. I have no mouse. Let alone a mouse mat.

Did I just ruin your question?
Seeing you're Weeping Angel image made me shiver. I love the Doctor Who shows, but those angels are the only thing in the whole series that freaked me out.

For a mouse pad I had this image put onto a blank one.

For me, the lovely mouse pad that I'm using is the one you receive for buying the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Collector's Edition.
Haha same thing here!

I use a Razer Sphex

I started out just using my wooden desk, but I wore through it (So it is a really uneven surface) then I bought a cheap £5 fabric topped one... Wore through that.

Then on my birthday I got a new mouse (Razer Imperator) and the mouse mat. So far it's rather nice, thin enough to comfortably fit under my keyboard and to keep my wrist nice and flat and also very slippy to allow nice movement of the mouse (Also easy cleaning of dust, crumbs and the occasional eyelash) it also shows no sign of being worn away... Yet.

I too have a laptop and as such normally just use the mousepad.

BUT, when I need to play some LoL or other non-mousepadloving game I actually have a wireless mouse and a sweet Naruto card game mat I won ages ago. Works like a champ, doesn't slip on absolutely anything, and it's got a sweet pic of Tsunade and her giant slug.

My mousepad is an A4 sized sheet of glass, originally intended as a cutting slate for in my kitchen.
It works, and doesn't wear out as much as other mousemats i've used, this one is 7 years old now.

Well, at home I use a Func Surface Archetype. Great mouse surface and very much worth the price. I've had it for several years though and it's starting to wear. However, currently I'm at work and I use some lame shiny dell P.O.S pad. It works........that's about all I can really say about it.

Are you using a bland white one? Maybe it's a wacky one, with fun colours for the whole family, maybe it's a creepy white mouse pad with a black text that says "I like it when you rub me.", or maybe it's a mouse pad referencing something from the internet.

You need to tell us what is, dear Escapians.

For me, the lovely mouse pad that I'm using is the one you receive for buying the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Collector's Edition.

Why would I have a mousepad? The world now uses laser mice which can track on any flat surface, thereby rendering the mousepad redundant.

Because it avoids getting crap on the mouse?
