It does, yeah, but my commute is only a half hour or so so it's not that big a deal. I like the morning radio personalities and on the drive home I need traffic reports to decide which route to take. I will look into getting one for road trips though, thanks/an annoyed writer said:

Chrysler Aspen. I'd get the Hybrid version too: 22MPG in a giant-ass behemoth like that, and since I've had experience driving that class of vehicle, I already know how to park it responsibly. Unlike some people I know of in my area.

Yeap. It looks like a rotten egg and is about 15 years old. I'm a new driver so I'm happy we've got an old car. I don't have to worry that much about the occasional dent and scratch as dad doesn't care that much anyway.
Already scrapped off some paint by taking a turn too tight and hugging a concrete pillar very tightly at low speed. Now there's this 'beautiful' collection of white scratches going from the back door all the way to the trunk. First and last time I damaged our car, luckily.

Mine, but I knocked the antenna off by accident. A panel next to the gas pedal was never put on right and has fallen off. Floor mats curling, the thing is dirty as hell. Rug pulled off of vents on the passenger side. Long story. I hope I can get it fixed.

Nice, that's a lovely area. Yeh I work in Richmond, and come in from Streatham Common; I've lived in South West London most of my life, and honestly sometimes feel nervous when venturing into other parts of London like the North East. I don't have any pictures but I drove a 2000 Ford Fiesta Zetec as my first car before upgrading to her younger sister, a 2004 newer model Fiesta Zetec.
I loved both cars, especially the quirks of the first car where after a while the lock on the driver door seized up and could only be opened on the passenger side (confused the hell out of people who hadn't ridden with me before lol)
The power steering on the newer model was really nice though.
My mum's driving the 2004 now as I've moved out of the country again. The 2000 sadly slipped into a coma while I was in China a few years ago so I had to sell it. I've since seen it driving around town though so that cheered me up.
I'll get around to getting a new mode of transport soon enough. I'm thinking a motorbike though. Always wanted one. A nice one, not these old clunkers and certainly not a heavy bike. Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawasaki-esque all the way.

my daily ride. archive pic tho.. unfortunately mines at the shop now... snapped the chain yesterday so now its waiting for a new chain + rear cassette and also new brake pads as im on the metal now.. hooray for unexpected expenses..
