Some girls in the apartment uptown, some homeless people maybe 5 or 10, some NYU girl I met in central park, and some ****** with a dog in an alley. Killed another girl with a chainsaw, I mean I had to, she almost got away. I guess I´ve killed something like 20, maybe 40 people. I tried to eat some of their brains, and uh, I even tried to cook a little.
So uh, I mean I guess I´m a pretty sick guy.
Depends on whether you like Huey Lewis and the news or not.

Somewhere in the billions, I think.

I haven't blown up that many planets that I can remember, to be honest. The only time I can recall doing it was in Colonial Conquest II on the Amiga, but planetary populations rarely exceeded 35,000 in that; I've clocked 455,410 lifetime kills in Diablo III, so that dwarfs that one.

However, I've played a little DEFCON, which comfortably puts me up towards the billion death marker. Not a lot, so probably not much more than that in terms of orders of magnitude.

Wolfenstein 3D has some 4,000 Nazis. I've killed all bar three (the Hans Grosses in the Aardwolf maze in E2M8, because fuck that shit).

Doh ho ho.

This could be difficult.

Every febuary the fourteenth, as catharthis for my hatred (with a teensey bit of jealousy) of that particular holiday, I hold a killathon, trying to beat my record from last year for most kills in one day. 10,000+ was the top record, on the first year I held it, about four years or so ago now. I don't think I'll ever top it, because truth be told, getting that many in one day requires actual planning and pretty much a non stop schedule. Trying to beat it kinda spoiled the fun for me. Last year's one was a little over the 5000 mark, relatively modest.

But I play violent games an awful lot, it's a favoured method of catharsis for me. God knows how many I've killed in my entire gaming career. The other two killathons both scored around about 7000 each, so all those four days equal to about 29000. And that's just those four particularly violent days. I wouldn't be surprised if I've topped a million. Who knows how much that would be if I played RTSes more.

In the hundreds of thousands for this year anyway. I've played a few games which involve the deaths of thousands.

Considering all the American paratroopers that foolishly hurl themselves to their deaths by parachuting onto my base in C'n'C: Yuri's Revenge I couldn't even begin to guess.

I hit a homeless guy with my car once. I'm not sure if he died, I didn't slow down (it was a bad part of town).

Anyways, I'm in the billions thanks to the Civilization series and all of the nuking and pillaging. If you actually zoom in on the cities and look at the change in population every time you burn population to speed up a project, the player quickly becomes history's greatest monster.

Well that depends on whether we're counting only player controlled enemies or any poor digital bastard who dares stand in your way. If it's only player controlled then probably somewhere in the hundred thousands. If it's any and all then it's probably in the millions, if not ten millions.

Ive killed two moose, one was already injured due to car accident, :( as well as a scab infected fox.
But virtually, oh goodness. Total War racks up that counter till it breaks, man.

Yeah, probably many trillions if you count strategy games. Personally? From Diablo 1 to Battlefield 3 where each click has the possibility of killing 1-20 things, probably tens of millions. I've played an awful lot of video games for a long time, in multiplayer FPSs alone call it maybe 3-4 hundred a night when I'm playing an FPS regularly, so about 72,000 per six months or so....carry the...Somewhere between 1.4-2 million in multiplayer FPSs over my lifetime.

Hundreds of thousands if not millions if Age of Empires counts. Entire civilizations over at least a decade. Hard to tell.

In Warframe I'm pretty sure I broke a damn good number of kills...gonna check. But yeah, possibly ecking out into the millions, maybe even the first billions. I have a deep love of Dynasty Warrior aka: Slaughter everyone and everything on the planet. I've basically bombed the planet to smithereens and then bombed it some more in Civilizaton V - BNW - always nice to keep the world population down and the resources to myself.

My Halo times have lead me through at least over 10 thousand, just counting Halo Reach and 4 Multiplayer...

Over the course of my WoW, Rusty Hearts, Tera and other online game days....

Yeah I've probably killed at least 1.7 times the world's current population in video game enemies.

Time to make that a 2.

I've regularly played Pandemic 2 and Plague Inc as well as plenty of AAA games like Prototype, CoD, probably a fair few where playing as the bad guys means you end up killing millions as part of the story, and of course a whole lot of RTS games... without even thinking, I can tell you that I am responsible for the digital deaths of untold billions. "Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds."

Merry Christmas everyone! :D

...I've got Plague Inc on my phone, so I've got nearly 7 billion kills from each and every victory on that game alone...and I've beaten that game at least a few dozen times. So yeah...I'm easily at 11-12 figures.

Let's see. I have defeated entire armies in Total War: Medieval II and War for Middle Earth, massacred thousands in Prototype and killed Sims in a variety of ways since the first Sims game way back when. You can essentially see where this is going so compound this by roughly twenty years...

I've probably killed the equivalent of the human population on Earth if not more.

I've played over 350 hours of Civilization V. Much of that time was spent at war and I've conquered the world several times with fire and iron.

I've also wiped all human life off the face of the planet many times in games like Plague inc.

I have the blood of billions on my hands.

Easily in the trillions, mostly thanks to a number of space empire strategy games I've played and replayed. Kind of tough to compare some of these genres in this sense. Destroying, or simply razing, a planet with billions of sophonts with a few mouse clicks kind of makes it tough to catch up via killing things one by one.

Now, were we to limit things to a more... personal kill count, (games where one controls individual characters) probably still rather high. In the vicinity of 100 thousand were I to estimate.
