These are just wild guesses with no basis in fact. So I will at least make my guess interesting.

I have decimated the populations of goombas and turtles across the entire Mushroom Kingdom and killed all seven of King Koopas young children working as a plumber with Mario.

I have slain all the demons of hell spawn released in the 16 floors beneath the chapel in Tristram and murdered Diablo himself at the end of it all.

I have exterminated entire planets, entire SPECIES, in my bid to become the Master of Orion.

I again destroyed the spawn of hell and hundreds of possessed space marines in a research facility on Mars as I tried to escape my Doom.

I have killed thousands of infected as I pursued rescue after being Left 4 Dead.

Thousands of men of fallen before my armies, commanding them with my Mount and Blade.

I have destroyed thousands of Tyrannid and Orc scum at the Dawn of War.

I have gunned down hundreds of genetically engineered soldiers despite my F.E.A.R.

I have killed magical creatures both great and small in order to collect a King's Bounty.

I have killed raider and super mutant alike in my bid to escape the Fallout.

While traversing the Borderlands I have shot and killed countless men and beasts.

I must now go shoot more people, for I must answer the Call of Duty.

Impossible to say. The Mass Effect franchise easily nets about 605,000 kills (almost entirely because of Arrival) and in the various Total War games I've racked up several million kills largely due to sacking cities in late game rather than simply trying to integrate a population into my ranks. Various FPS multiplayer games tend to net 10,000 kills each so easily 300,000 kills there. Some 4x games likely would have staggering kill counts but, as they tend to abstract population, it is impossible to say. I will say that in terms of explicit kills, the only game truly worth counting is DEFCON considering single games can easily result in hundreds of millions dead and across all my games I've easily gotten in excess of 10,000,000,000 kills.

Well just playing Last of Us over the past week I've killed roughly 700 people... And that's a game where you actually have to see and kill each thing that you kill individually. If you count games like the Civilization series, where I routinely conquer nation after nation with hordes of cavalry or other units, then that's easily millions in those games alone. Plus think about the townspeople that die in SimCity when I choose to play god, and send natural disaster after natural disaster against them, or the numerous poor random encounters in Final Fantasy games, the run over pedestrians in Grand Theft Auto, the guards slaughtered for fun in Assassins Creed, the towns decimated in Elder Scrolls games, and so on...

I'm a monster. I've killed tens of millions. And now there's only one person left to kill.

Millions... Billions... uncountable SCORES OF living and nonliving beasts and persons and robots and ghosts and zombies and everything!

This happens when you are playing a game where you can order the destruction of a planet (Master of Orion II for example)

Hell, even games like Defcon, every impact of a nuke can directly kill millions. (Great game for making me stop and loudly saying to myself: WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING HERE?)

Do robotic units count? "Killed" thousands of those in Supreme Commander and such.

But, ah well "Ordering something destroyed or someone dead" do not count, yes?

If only the times count where i pulled my virtual trigger:

Hm, in World of Tanks my Gunners (pretty much me) destroyed thousands of tanks, Likely the crews (2-6 people) will mostly die.
In my "Team Fortress 2, Arena"-obsessed year i killed about 20.000 players on one server alone. Then there are the "Wave-fighter-games" where you have to mow down like 500 zombies per level alone. Pretty sure i killed like a thousand demons in Shadow Warrior the last week too.

So yeah: I am the Summerstorm, i can never be stopped, i can never be killed. I bring death to all. *g*

well once you bring planet-destroying space sims into the mix you've pretty much seen it all. can't get much more destructive than blowing up entire worlds. other than that... total war? that's some killing party. I remember playing battlefront 2 until I had all of those upgrades unlocked at the start of each game, so that must've been a pretty numer. also blowing a LQ tib bomb in C&C3... half the planet dead, whoo, entertainment!

Between Civ, MMOs and RPGs... a number I can't even begin to fathom. How many planets, worlds, and civilizations have I destroyed?

And now I'm trying to decide what to lay over the holidays and rack that number up even higher.

I play a LOT of Dynasty Warriors. Just saying. In CoD, 50 kills is a lot. In DW, 50 kills is barely a combo's worth of kills.
