The same reason people like Queen, Beatles, Lady Gaga, Avenged Sevenfold or Justin Bieber. They like the music.

It's good to know that naïveté is still alive and well...

I find it funny when people put an accent in naive or spell it with an e in English. It's a fully-integrated word that easily takes productive English affixes. Kudos for taking the next step and using the e alongside two superfluous accents.

However, I realized, if she would sing songs with real meaning, I might like her. California Girls (I cant stand how music has started down internet speak and refuse to allow it) is a crappy superficial song, but I have heard a couple that are not so.

As for her husband....he makes me laugh. (considering he is a comedian, its all thats required)
