I always have respect for artists who can do those things, even if I don't particularly like them I can still respect them for actually having a bit of talent.

Although, being off-tune vocally is objective and she sings off tune without computers so that's why I think her music is shite

Just listening to the popular radio stations makes me sad. Pop music has never been really good but this is just horrible.

I think Katy Perry is a good singer. I have to admit I enjoyed her songs, "Hot & Cold," "Firework," and "California Gurls." Or I just find them catchy or have a good beat to them.

But also think this also counts...

She's got some catchy songs, she's hot, and going by SNL and some of the other things i've seen her on she seems pretty down to earth.

Only thing I don't like about her, is not really herself, but her husband, Russell Brand. I never met him, so I don't know if he is a good guy or not in person, but he comes off as the British version of Dane Cook. Funny at first, but later on, you and everyone else belives he's just an unfunny douchebag. A really unfunny douchebag.
