Ever failed first level?

Well, i didn't need a walkthrough or anything, but on the first level of MW2 when you've just killed everyone on the bridge, you climb up the stairs and someone yelled "get in the truck!" i turned, looking for said truck, only to have the vehicle smash into me and run me over. Faaaaaail....

I sort of expected this thread to be about dying on the first level...'cause I've done that in Super Mario Bros. more times than I'd care to admit. I've never been stuck like that, though.

What he said. But only because I played on Insane difficulty alone.

Well Demon's Souls made it impossible to not die in the first level. Even if you beat the giant goblin thing (super, super hard) you still will get your face melted (well, crushed) by the dragon god. But that's actually the tutorial level, the first real level (Boletaria) took me at least 5-6 hours and probably a good 20-25 deaths just to get past Phalanx (2nd boss).

But with practice it's a lot easier I've beat that first part without one death on a new char.

My Fn keys weren't toggled so i had to re-enter. Then i somehow got stuck in crouch and spent the whole getting over the river scene walking in slow motion from a massive mech walking towards me

As for the 'stuck in crouch' you probably had your legs blown off. More annoying than anything else. Yeah that was the tutorial level...

Playing Deus Ex on Realistic is such a painful challenge even after all this time.

Also IWBTG but I actually get a bit further every 50th time I die on hard mode.

Metal Gear Solid 3. Partly because I sucked big time at it and partly because I just didn't find it at all fun. I was so disappointed by that game :-(

haha, not only you die on the first level, you die in the first screen, A LOT!

The first time I ever played on Metal Gear Solid I got spotted about 12 seconds after I first got control of Snake and proceeded to get bullet riddledby guards. Also the tutorial level on the first Driver game. For years I only played Free Ride because it was practially impossible.

I think the only game I've ever been stuck on for a while was ARMA, because it's so damn difficult.
