Ever gotten a death/violent threat online?

One thing I've wondered was how many death threats were real and/or from the truly psychotic, and how many are just invocations of Poe's Law... I'd probably lose some of my respect for humanity, to say the least.

Over the years I've probably been threatened in every imaginable way over the internet. I have and will never take it seriously, because I don't post on websites like this under my real identity, nor link them to it. Anyone online who has access to my real name is actually someone I know IRL.

Edit: I find it disturbing how seriously people take things like this online.. threats of violence are common, but they only actually matter if a person knows how to access you.. and most people should NOT know how to access you.
