To screw with him, should have replied that you were an orphan, and you had no dog.DeadFOAM said:I get them on a regular basis. I help run a TF2 server, so I get wonderful threats from the assholes we deal with. My favorite was the kid who said he would rape my mother, fornicate with my father's skull, kill my dog, then teabag me to death while wearing my dog's skin as a condom.
I couldn't stop laughing.
Delicious. I'm sending that guy a message...GreatTeacherCAW said:On a related note, my friend received this one after a match in BF3:

That's a risky move to make :/ the idiots are the ones most likely to follow up on their threats.Andy of Comix Inc said:YOU THINK THEY'LL TAKE A WHILE??! Then he somehow discovered my dad's email address, and sent a death threat to my entire family saying how disgusting I was and that they should fix me or he'll call the police.
That was a fun day.
I've, somehow, never had someone threaten me over the internet. I once had someone insult me over my clinginess, and I've been told to "stop spouting transphobic bullshit" at one point--I was advocating for transrights while still saying I think it'll be a while--but that's about it. Guess I'm lucky.
...yeah, no, that's pretty lucky. I don't actually count threats from idiots or people who've missed the point. They aren't worth paying attention to.
Damn. PvP is one thing (you can leave a battle ground at any time if your not having fun) but spawn camping is an act of pure douchebaggery. I'm glad they guy said sorry. also, people on WoW are not all obscence words for female genitals. guilds and other players do help thouse being ganked unecisarliy hard.Bvenged said:I've done almost the opposite; I'd just started WoW back up and I was in STV where some horde kept spawn killing me for an hour straight, seriously I couldn't get away. So I made a horde, insulted him with everything short of a death threat (not sexual insults or family insults, personal ones but no death threats), then I calmed down and explained how he ruined the game for me and that now because of him I didn't want to play it ever again - that he'd wasted an hour of my time and now my money as I was early in the subscription of 2 months.t3h br0th3r said:Death threats, if your trolling correctly, you will get them.
once in WoW a guy whose character i killed multiple times in a Battle Ground crated a Horde toon just to threaten me with death and my mother with sexual assault.
I laughed so hard i /ignored him without reporting.
I quit out, and played it again at the weekend where I had a full apology and some gold. It wasn't even sarcastic. I understand PvP but a line has to be drawn with spawn killing for no honour. At least he had some morality, I was just lucky. Anybody else on WoW would've shunned me. Cunts.
Ugh, I don't want to get into this again. -____-Volf99 said:you are aware that the Catholic church recognizes evolution, right? Please don't group Catholics in with Protestants. The thing is though that it might have been a teeny bit offensive to Christians, and while I was browsing the flame war it started on reddit, some guy was saying whoever made the picture needs a shotgun bullet to the head.
Has something like this ever happened to you? When it did, were you offended, scared, apathetic, or just laughing your ass off? Honestly, it's kind of a strange feeling, but overall, I had a good laugh. What about you?
It's not "politically correct" to be to depict facts (like how Catholics realize evolution exist).Glass Joe the Champ said:Ugh, I don't want to get into this again. -____-Volf99 said:you are aware that the Catholic church recognizes evolution, right? Yes, I'm aware that the Pope recognized evolution, in fact, I wrote a paper related to that back in AP History.
It's called a joke. I listed a bunch of thinly veiled Christian stereotypes for the same reason I put Bidoof's head on the Pope's body: Because I thought it would be funny, not to be politically correct.

I'm American and I have family in Texas, I know what you mean. I'm not trying to bully you, I just get tired of all the bigoted Christian bashing I see going on. No hard feelings, ok?Glass Joe the Champ said:(sigh) Okay, fine, whatever.Volf99 said:snip
Yes, most Christians aren't as extreme and hostile towards science as others depict them to be. [small](although I live in Texas, and you'd be pretty surprised how stupid religious people can be around here)[/small]
There, you're right, I'm so sorry. Can you leave me alone now?
Oh, it's no problem. I kind of understand, I just get tired of people not being able to take a joke. It's all good though.Volf99 said:I'm American and I have family in Texas, I know what you mean.
