Why must my method of donation be via my parents, who are on a "tight pursestrings policy" right now?

This is pretty much not a thread for him (and me, by association) to explain why some might really, passionately dislike that show. There was a thread, I could link it but it's really just a massive flamewar.

This isn't about Extra Credits. Allison doesn't just do Extra Credits and, hell, even if she did, it's still a worthwile cause pretty much.

Not everyone is gonna like the show, and that is completely fine 'cause we are all different. But its people like these that are still amazing. They don't even like the show but support them. That, everyone, is what makes the Escapist amazing. I hope Allison is alright, and can draw so much more EC and more of her other stuff, which everyone should check out.

It sounds like they have all the money they need so I'll just wish Allison well and say how amazing it is that such a huge amount of money has been raised in just five hours. I have no idea how a developed country can survive without national healthcare, hearing things like this just sicken me. They'd honestly let her go without surgery?

Know any videogame fans with a law degree? Might be able to swing probono (I did). Send a letter describing the insurance company's negligence and intransigence to the state insurance commissioner and cc the insurance company. Lessee...top notch graphic designer's career up to retirement age is probably worth several million dollars. Yeah, that might get their attention.

Well, I know a videogame character with a law degree, although I don't think that would help much.

As much as I would REALLY love to donate as much money as I'd like, I don't even have a job. I would've made my own Rockethub page just to raise $5000 in donation money.

If there's any other EC fans below 16, then thank God I'm not alone.

But anyway, Allison and Extra Credits really deserve more than its share of donations. Especially since Allison's got James and Daniel by her side. They're a truly high-profile team that really deserves more than it doesn't have--like a Wikipedia page, more fans outside The Escapist, and a better spotlight in the industry.

Sure, Yahtzee and ZP might deserve a bit more than EC, but this is the future of Allison and EC as we know it we're talking about.
