was over on neogaf seen this http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=581137 says fable 3 is free to gold member, turn on my 360 and want do you know it free to download! looks like MS are trying to get people on there side again but not sure this will make up for some of the xbox-ones problems so far, but can not complain with getting a free game

I dont mind that its a 3 year old game, since you cant expect them to give away a brand new one. Still, they should've just given away Fable The Lost Chapters instead since that game was actually really good

Which reminds me, I can't wait to play Fable 1 when the HD version comes out. The only Fable game that is actually great. Fable 2 didn't suck IMO but it's just decent. Fable 3 just sucked hard and the journey made me give up on the series all together.

If my experience with free, legal TV sites is any proof, there's probably some ungodly stupid licensing law behind it.

As for the OP, I haven't seen it myself yet (haven't turned on my xbox today) but apparently, The Walking Dead is also free, which should be far more exciting. To most people. I have both those games.

It only shows as free if you are looking at the price in Microsoft points, so if you have then try switching to that.

But in all seriousness, this should be encouraged, Xbox Gold should be more like PS+. Okay so its not exactly the best game in the world but its a start, and the game is quite fun.

Don't forget they've also got one of the uncharteds for free too. Microsoft's attempt at winning people back is pretty piss-poor. Make a few games from bigger franchises free to download, like say, Halo or something.

Yes it is. It's got an awkward mess of a storyline that just feels messy and has no impact at all, and the gameplay is utterly unchanged from the second one.
But it's definitely good to pick up for free. It's not excruciating, merely pretty bad.

I remember I was heavily drinking when heading towards the final boss.

I do not recall the end of the game at all, just this one tweet I wrote "THATS THE FINAL BOSS?!?! SERIOUSLY? FUCK THIS GAME!" clearly I was very disappointed.

I also played the game wanting to be the bad guy, that would sacrifice the towns folk lives so that we may live. Make the tough decisions. The problem? I raised taxes and let the console run over night. I had so much money. Like I could of bought everything in the game and still I would have had so much money. Like I could of been burning it for fuel money.

So I get the two choices, the clearly dick move and the thing that makes everyone happy.... I have to choose the happy one just because I have SO MUCH MONEY!

Just letting people know in case if they simply made a mistake with a change of price or is just temporary.

Either way if you "buy" it now free, even if they made a mistake, you already bought it so I doubt they can take it away.


All in all I am just suspicious that they would give out something free
