But what I wanna know is what do you guys think its gonna be about??
New Character?
Old Character?

Since the release of the giant turd that was Fable 2, I am not expecting much of Lionhead anymore. It will probably just be the same old random plot with that one random dude, saving the random world.

It should be made steampunk this time, I reckon. Just think about it for a second. The first game was set in like a medieval time, Albion was sort of like Medieval England. Then they moved forward by about 500 years, and the new Albion was similar to later periods of history, moving nearer to the Tudor period. Now why not do Victorian era styles for Albion? Perhaps make it set in an Industrial Revolution of sorts and introduce steampunk elements, because let's face it, there aren't nearly enough good steampunk games out there (Bioshock is probably the best known good one, of course), and we'll just get bored of seeing the same style repeated over and again. Trouble is, Peter Molyneux isn't exactly renowned for listening to the fans...

Well I think the should pull a terminator an just disavow the story from fable two. I honestly think it would be better to have you play during the time the heroes guild was being dissolved and your jobs, as one of the heroes on the lamb, is to convince people the they still need the heroes guild, either through showing them your goodness, or taking down some corrupt official taking advantage of the turmoil. I could go more in depth but I think you get the gist of what I'm saying.

Yeah it should probably be set around the time of the industrial revolution / mechanised age and continue on the theme where the world has forgotten about heroes/magic.
Lionhead really need to either make the combat harder or more indepth (or perhaps both). I'd like to see the will guage back, as spamming attackers with spells got boring after a while.

It will most likely suck like 1 and 2
I've never got what is so seductive about these titles.
I mean, I look at Fable and I immediately say ,"This is shit, everything about this game is pathetic and it has some form of fractured mirror of a combat system"

I was playing Fallout 3 with a friend the other day, he had a supermutant as a party memeber. He turned around and noticed he wasn't behing him, so he ran back to find the mutant. When he found him stuck behind a train he said ,"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? You...retard" he lowered his voice speaking out loud to a supermutant in a game he subconciously convinced himself had feelings. Only good RPG's can do that to you. Also I shit myself laughing when he said it, ah, good times.

Fallout 1 and 2 rock also.

That's a pretty good idea, but they might aswell start a new IP while doing that. My main concern is to rather make the game a good RPG first, then decide about setting.

As for listening to the fans, I wouldn't be surprised if he went through the trouble of printing the comments and critiques on his toilet paper.

Ah the Dickhead Returns , i dunno she has a change of heart in fable or something either way it was still a lazy move on the fable side alot of that game stuck me as lazy and pointless why people care about a sequel is baffling

I ended up killing that mutant because he kept blocking my way when I stepped into tents for a rest.

I actually was upset a little when I had to put him down like a dog.

Personally I'd like to see some expansion on the whole real estate aspect. Maybe make some stuff like being able to open up a mine and hire employees. Or, to further that, make it to where you can produce ore from your mine and ship it to a smithy that you own, and having the people there create goods that you can sell or trade. Add in some item crafting for sure. Oh, and some horses or some other type of mount, and add in mounted combat. Maybe make the world seem a little more alive, add in a calendar, have holidays in certain towns on certain days. Actually have the ability to watch your kids grow up, and eventually take over for you when you get too old. Have your actions actually affect the world, like having people build statues of you and whatnot. Throw in some actual multiplayer, where your buddy uses his hero and you use yours, and maybe make it to where you sort of share heroes, where there's other heroes in the world trying to do the quests and the jobs, that may actually beat you to the treasure and the renown from non-story missions. That'd add in a bit of urgency to it all.

More fighting, smarter fighting. And let the "morality spectrum" thingy spillover into combat. For example, the "good" hero would play by the rules, try to knock out the enemy instead of kill them, while the "bad" hero fights dirty, kicking 'em in the balls or tossing dirt in their eyes.

They didn't comment on the existence of a third fable. They said he wasn't on board for any forthcoming projects, and if you blew your NDA in half like he did? You would find yourself no longer lined up for any forthcoming projects as well. If anything Fable 3 is just in the very very pre-production stages, meaning most of the team would probably be working on Fable 2 DLC still.

Also! SPOILER! You will be a Hero.
