I am quite excited about Fable 3, though I have no idea what any of it will be like...
Still, I took the time to write a letter to Lionhead Studios in the hope that Peter. M would read it, here is a copy for you to peruse:

"Dear Peter. M, I would like to request (see:beg) for the following improvements to be made to Fable 3 over the previous games:

An open world environment similar to Oblivion, Saints Row 2 or Just Cause.

A co-op experience with a leash about a mile longer than that of the second game and more meaningful interactions allowed for the second player.

A more in depth selection of magic, weapons, skills and clothing.

An improved camera!(one, one)

Perhaps some kind of class system where in all characters have basic levels they can learn in most skills, but only those with the appropriate classes can reach the higher levels.

E.g: A necromancer could take some toughness, but not as much as a warrior, the wizard could learn some necromancy, but not as much as a necromancer.
(Please add more necromancy to the game, the undead are just so damn awesome.)

A fracking character customization system perhaps closer to The Sims 3 than Barbie (face options, skin colour, etc).

Thank you for your time.

- Booze Zombie"

Do you agree with my requests for improvment, disagree or simply not care about Fable 3?

I agree, with one addition to the list:

-Make a PC version of the game!

Yes!

I didn't even know a new fable was coming and I haven't played the second yet (could have something to do with not having a console) but It should be good.

Hmm, reasons to get a console are rising.

la..lalalala.la.la..Katamari Damachi. do do do doooo.

Hey, it's up to Lionhead if they want to lose money with some stupid exclusivity thing or not.

yeah I agree only I would also like to be able to talk instead of communicating through usually rude hand gestures. So I guess just improve the way you can interact with NPC's.

Definatly improve the Co-op mode, dunno how, but 2's was abundant with lag.

Also, keep Stephen Fry.

I'm sure Fable 3 will be everything you expected it to be, minus half.
Just like the other installments of the series.

Not saying that Fable is a terrible series, it just never gives what it promises. Fable 1 basically promised everything that was already done in Morrowind and then said it couldn't be done during that generation yet. Fable 2 would've been better if it wasn't for the loading times between areas, and the fact that there were areas to begin with.
Dividing the overworld into small areas that open up as you progress the main story killed all the fun in sandboxing for me.

I nearly forgot this one, but hire a proffesional writer this time, someone who is experienced in fantasy writing and isn't just going to string together a series of cliches.

Or you could write
"Dear Peter M.
Please make Fable 3 really awesome.
Sincerely,
everyone ever."

Yeah, but that's hardly going to very informative on their end.

I'd like to add to this list:
-"Mr. Molyneux if you're going to name the game "FABLE" you need a more emotionally charged story. I would like to see the characters of the story change based on what you do. Give choices that are far more morally gray, and legitimately difficult. Let me kill that bastard Reaver!"

I think Peter doesn't want you to be able to choose exactly how your character looks. He wants your characters appearance to change based on how you play the game. This is only a problem because the limited choices in the game leave most characters looking the same. If Fable 3 had more choices you could make that had different effects on your appearance, then both problems would be solved.

Oh yeah, nice letter. Constructive criticism like this can help developers to improve their games. I wish more developers would actually listen to the people who bought the game.

I know you're supposed to change because of your actions, but having black skin and blue eyes before you turn red eyed and pale with evil would be nice. If you get me.

I think I understand what you mean.

You want to be able to customize your character initially, and then have that characters appearance change based on your choices. That would be a good and interesting system, as despite how your characters changes based on these choices it will still feel like your character.

It is a good letter but knowing Peter M he'll probably ingore it trying to make genuinely 'love' things again, like that bloody dog, it was quite a nice idea but in the end i didn't give two shits about the fate of the thing further than, without it I wouldn't be able to find buried treasure.

I don't really think we should give him another chance to be honest, after finishing Fable 2 I honestly felt scammed, I am not going to buy 3 unless the thing gets shining reviews and is hailed as the re-incarnation of everything awesome....ever.

With that said...more stuff? I felt like the story was short, the side quests were abysmal, the good-bad meter was terrible, cliches were abundant, and I had gotten bored after a total play time of maybe 10 hours.
