"To all the fans out there, I'm sorry to say this but... Fable [1] sucked."
~ Peter Molineaux (Fable Creator)

Translation: Bring a towel to play Fable 2, because it's gonna blow your mind.

He actually said that? I guess it's easy to denigrate your own game once its not selling anymore. The expressions system is still sorta iffy. I would like both the expressions and elder-scrolls conversation trees. It's ok not having it I guess. It makes it easier to role-play every all on your own. What gets said and everyone's feelings and all that.

One thing I have noticed is that you get fat a lot easer anymore. Munch a pie or two to heal and you can already start to see it, and despite the fact that I run everywhere I can't loose the weight :(.

I also have a bit of trouble with my "bread crumb" trail not always keeping up with me at a full run, or sometimes randomly appearing behind me (then when you turn around to goes back to the direction it should be in).
quote]

Yea the weight gain is a pain in the but, so i've made sure to dump all potential weight gain foods and stock up on vegetables any chance i get. In order to lose any previously accumulated weight, i headed to Bowerstone, bought all the celery from the produce guy, ate it (losing a bit of weight each), slept for 7 days and bought it again...Repeat as needed.
Tis sad that no amount of running seems to shed the pounds.

Yea at full pace the breadcrumbs just cant keep up and you find yourself constantly stopping to see where to go.

Was I the only one really irritated by not having a mini-map on the screen! That thing was so handy for navigating first time round.

Love the game though. Playing through as a good guy with a cute little halo.

I'm loving this game. Got a cool looking hero, who just got his first scars. I was in
the crucible fighting the commendate
and when I got overwhelmed and got KO'd then hit by lightning, now I have a load of burn marks on my back. I don't see why everyone is so fussed about them, same as in real life, I think scars tell a story.

I have barely started the main quest yet I've played over 20 hours. Go real estate agent trying to support multiple families!

I'd also like to ask a few questions. Namely, how do you take people on dates? And what happened to my "Fable 2 pub games: free with pre-order" that I never got?

EDIT: Also, does anyone know if running a lot decreases your weight?
To take people on dates just use the "Y" button to see what they like best, then use the "follow me" expression. You also don't need to wait for others to ask you for sex if you have the "come hither" expression found in the Bowerstone bookstore. Just use it when they like you a lot, and they will follow you to your home.

For your Pub Games with the pre-order, you should have been given a card with a code on the back when you placed the pre-order. If you didn't get one, better hope you still have your sale slip.

And I stand by what I said before. This game kicks ass.

I unfortunately don't have the monies for good ole Fable 2, and I'm waiting for my brother to get bored of his copy before I lunge in and use it for myself. I've got limited funds lately, and I can only really afford to buy one game. (Roll on Fallout 3)

So you just take them to their favorite place and...Do some expressions? I already knew about the sex thing. I've gotten both of my wives just by walking up to them and doing manly arm pumps and such.

No, the store I got it from sucks balls. When I pre-ordered it, they didn't have it in for two days after release. We went and complained and they got all uppity and scared, so we got the LCE for the price of the regular game.

Also, I can't wait for the dashboard update so I can put this game on my hard drive. These load times are killing me.

Yes the load times are terrible, They also try and fail to load while in game. But the fail is in that it will do it at anytime.

Also the constant crashing.

Strange thing happened to me last night when I was playing...I was walking back to Bowerstone, and there were some bandits on the road - didn't attack me.

I thought "Ok...slightly weird, maybe they just didn't see me", walk right up to them, they don't react. So then I think "maybe they're villagers and I turned the safety off again, thus giving them a red glow as enemies have". Nope, safety was on...

So I started attacking...none of the bandits responded to my blows. It was weird...

Anyone else experienced something like this?

I hate to not contribute to the thread in any way, but why are you sorry his game is running slowly?

Games not working sucks. That it is why.

Anyone had multiple families that worked? Mine just fell apart.

For the love of GOD guys! Do NOT eat meat. Use potions and vegetables, and maybe crunchy chickens if you feel particuarly evil. I ate a few pies when i was on low health and now my character is morbidly obese god damnit!

If you have pub games get the pie. It gets you really thin (90 THIN).

Just got it and decided to try a mage. It all starts out well and good, but you start to get really overwhelmed and really need a melee weapon. That really annoys me as I was looking forward to doing nothing but send some serious shocks up peoples asses.

Well saying your sorry is kinda like taking responsibility for his game slowing down...which I assume you didn't do.

So you guys ever come across those rock trolls?
They're annoying as hell but they look awesome. So persistent, they'll never give up or desert you in a fight.
Did i just get rocktrolled?

Has anyone else spotted this?
