I did it the second time around. Then again, my second time around I had only 2 more things to level up and the Enforcer.
My...Guy (Isn't really good, nor evil. Just kind of does whatever he pleases.) has everything leveled up save for three spells, which are all at level 4.

My evil girl archer (gunner) barely has anything leveled up because she hasn't even made it to the arena yet. I'm a bit discouraged at continuing because taking on a horde of Balverines with nothing but a rusty clockwork pistol doesn't exactly sound like a jolly good time.

The wood cutting job is in Oakfield not Oakvale

but yes so far awesome game, I've actually spent a lot of time just running around Bowerstone finding things.

One thing I have noticed is that you get fat a lot easer anymore. Munch a pie or two to heal and you can already start to see it, and despite the fact that I run everywhere I can't loose the weight :(.

I also have a bit of trouble with my "bread crumb" trail not always keeping up with me at a full run, or sometimes randomly appearing behind me (then when you turn around to goes back to the direction it should be in).

I can forgive the little things though.

Also if you don't want to wait around for your wife to ask for sex you have to buy the expression book from the store in Bowerstone market. its called " come hither my love " or some such.
Hahah, my wife gave it to me and then it started telling me she wanted sex. I thought it was hillarious, she basically gave me a book about sex and winked at me. Then Hobbes killed my family... Biggest plot twist ever.

It's not the best you can get, but the only way to get better is to buy a masterwork weapon and augment the crap out of it.
Ever tried to take out a troll in 1:50 when you've spent the game swinging a lump of rock on a stick?

I went and grabbed the Red Dragon and got it eventually. I like the Chopper.
Rank 2 Raise Dead->Run round behind Troll->Rank 5 Shock->Beat troll in 17 seconds.

Master Flintrock=> Better then anything else. Twice the damage of a clockwork rifle with just a .9th of a second reload. Subtargeting the head always yeilds headshots and I could easily take down a banshee just by doing that. No zoom, She go boom.
But the clockwork can squeeze of a lot of shots fast, which is great for just spraying across an advancing hobbe horde to spread some pain.

That said, nothing beats a hammer and a bellow of hate.

Hammers. They Are The Fear Of God.

But a flintrock can one hit people while a clockwork just barely wounds them. While the clockwork rifle would seem good in theory its wonky to aim and quickly fire it.

Hmm, But what if the troll does that tremors things and knocks you over while charging?

He'll be after the undead.

This just may do the trick. I have accumulated a shitload of Will exp over time. Chopper... here i come...

Yes but the tremors are the earthquakes that have over 3 so it could very well hit everybody.

That's why you run around behind him. Rank 2 Raise Dead means it summons 3 zombies (or whatever you summon with no corpses around). He doesn't do the spreading tremor until you've damaged him as far as I know. Raise dead close enough for him to just try and hit them will do the trick. I've only pulled it off twice so far on the Crucible troll (Only tried twice too though). Seems to work well enough though. First time I tried it I ended up messing up on the first raise dead meaning I got knocked back, ended up with a ~45 second finish rather than the 17 second one I got today.

On that note:
If you get 8 Perfect Rounds first time through the crucible (as part of the story), you don't get the Chopper. Only the 10,000 bonus gold. ;/ Was well put out by that.

If in doubt, save before trying round 8. It *does* work very well.

Gonna 'double' post to bump this to the top with my question:

When applying augments you get three options. Ranged, Melee and Accessories. I've yet to see any of these so-called accesories with augment slots in the game. Anyone know what that's about? Was it just cut content?

The first augmentable item is a crappy mace you can find in the Guild Cave. I would suggest not keeping that one.

In my game, augmentable longswords and crossbows became available from the Bowerstone Blacksmith after I completed the Hero of Strength quest.

It's a bit easy to miss them if you don't know what you're looking for -- basically there will be a dull green dot after the item name.

Uh, thanks. I already knew all that (completed the game three times thus far >_>) but I was asking specifically about the Augmentable Accesories. Not the Ranged/Melee weapons. I have yet to see one of these accesories so I was wondering if they were cut content or not.

Yeah, I'm wondering about that. And also, where is the Game Master with Fortune's Tower? Hmmmm, HMMMMMMMMM!?

I can't belive that in an xbox mag I just got that Fallout 3 and GoW 2 both got ten (TEN!), and Fable 2 got 7. Utterly ridiculous

Fortune's Tower? I think I found that guy knocking around Westcliff pre-development. Haven't been back post-development, but he's probably still there.

My first character I dressed up in all Highway man clothes except the hat and the mask, I had Poet beard, and Long hair, then later I got a pony tail instead of the long hair.
After a drinking bindge my guy got kinda fat.
By the end of the game, My Character looked almost just like my dad.

Thanks for the clock bit, I'm going to do that right now. Only thing that's been pissing me off. I do miss bows, though.

Cool

Personally, I think its gameplay is a little average, and flawed in some areas, but still fun

However, what makes me like (possibly love) this game is its sense of humor. The game never takes itself too seriously, and I appreciate that.

Especially the quest parodying the Evil Dead

I'm not the only one who played that, right?

Why do you miss bows? Guns are so much cooler! You only need bows in the coming zombie apocalypse because it's more quiet.
