The reason all the alien invasion movies are set in America is 'cause we have the guns. The rest of the world just got killed or enslaved. Except for the few that are fighting back with hammers and chainsaws!

ahh, doesnt look as awesome as walking dead, probably cause(from my knowledge) there was never really a tv series about zombies(i might be wrong)... but there has been a couple of alien tv series...V for one... idk... i think Spielberg is losing his edge... now hes into the transformer movies, and do i have to say crystal skull... he used to be my favorite, jurassic park is my crack, and all his older movies are all mostly kick ass...

Awesome, and you know what's even better? The parodies that will have other Sci-Fi being included!

Why do aliens in these things ALWAYS have to look like unpleasant earth fauna mutated. In Falling Skies we have ye'olde crustacean/athropod aliens. Again. What about incoporeal aliens, gaseous or liquid ones? Why must they always have a "head" with eyes and teeth. Why not no head at all? Why be anthropomorphic? It's boring. Literature has served up far more creative alien creatures than film or television has.

Is it just me who thought that the scene with the space ship over the city look suspiciously a lot like District 9's Spaceship over the city?

It looks kinda cool but it'll probably end und up getting canned after one season. Seems par for the course with any new sci-fi shows V and walking dead not included. :/

This looks super shitty. Anyone else feel the same way? I love aliens more than zombies but this trailer just didn't do it for me.

Haven't I seen this before recently.. oh yea, I did. Skyline and we all know how horrible that movie was but apparently Hollywood likes to use the same story line over and over again since this story line was around way before Skyline.

As for Walking Dead, I like the comic better. The show was way to slow for me.

I don't have cable so will probably never see this, along with Walking Dead but oh well.

A big congratulations has to go out to Neill Blomkemp and District 9 for that last scene because if it wasn't inspired by that I don't know what is :p
That was exactly my thought.

I don't like how they've got the typical grizzled military forces man directing things. Whenever that guy shows up I'm guaranteed to get frustrated and want to start slapping people.

I'll watch the debut, and I will be judging it with cynicism. Hopefully it turns out as good as it has the potential to.

I think I'll wait for a pilot, or first episode before jumping to conclusions. That being said, bring on Game of Thrones for 2011 !
