Fallout 3 DLC Coming to PlayStation 3

Point Lookout, the first new DLC, is slated for release in late June on the Games for Windows Live [http://www.xbox.com] at a cost of 800 Microsoft Points each.

Bethesda also confirmed that the Fallout 3 DLC will be given a retail release later this year: The first add-on pack, coming in June, will include The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage, while Broken Steel and Point Lookout will come in a second pack scheduled for August. A Game of the Year edition was also announced, set to come out in October, which will include the original Fallout 3 along with all five add-ons and will sell for $49.99 on the PC and $59.99 on the Xbox 360.

But the big news, of course, is the official word from Bethesda that all previous and upcoming DLC will also be coming out for the PlayStation 3. The PS3 crowd has long suffered abuse at the hands of smug Xbox 360 and PC owners, but no more! Operation: Anchorage will hit the PlayStation Network [http://uk.playstation.com/psn/] in late June, while The Pitt and Broken Steel will follow at a future date. Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta will launch sometime after the original three DLC packages have been released.

Good news. I'm glad both 360 and PS3 owners can get it so hopefully it will dampen (if your optimistic) the fan-boy arguments =P

Seems Microsoft lost it's choke-hold on Fallout DLC, now we can all pray for an eventual Lost and Damned PS3 release.

And just as I was starting to get bored of Fallout, I get a bunch of DLC, one of which includes aliens. Best news ever.
