I won't submit my review until the deadline this time, I need time to suck up every inkling of this game before I review it...this might take a while

Damn, that pulls me out of the running completely.

And I was looking forward to this as well!

EDIT: Maybe next time, you could do a "Your Favourite Movie" one. Pretty please?

Ohh, that'll be good even though this is a gaming site. Many people write up movie reviews. If not, a review on your most hated game(/movie).

Yeah. Still sucks that this competition is too restricted, though.

I'm going to sit this one out because

1. I've been playing for a week now and I'm less than 10% into the game and I don't want to ruin the experience by rushing through it.
2. My review would center largely on giant ants and their ability to produce flame from their breathing aperatus.
3. When I inevitably win the mods will be left with the reality defying task of giving me a second custom title which may or may not cause the universe to implode, sucking us all into an endless aybss of nothingness where time has no meaning and the only constant is the soul eroding, nine dimensional, agony.

The rules for resubmitting are up there. You have three days after you submit your review to make any changes and send a revised version. You have to pick either a full review or a first impressions.

Please note, that submitting a first impressions review does not count against you. It's the quality of writing we're interested in, not the amount of free time you happen to have.

Is having fun allowed?
Absolutely no fun allowed!
Thats you in a nutshell.
No, this is me in a nutshell... "Help I am in a nutshell, it's very cramped in here, go get a nutcracker and save me before I run out of air!"

A question - as I'm an inexperienced reviewer at best, is it acceptable for me to just post my review in the normal forum?
I want to ask for as much feedback as I can get and this contest doesn't sound like the best place to do that ;)

Without needing to be nilcypher, I can tell you you're allowed to post Fallout 3 reviews in the User Review forum at large instead of submitting it to the contest. I'd be perfectly happy to read it if you did, too, maybe even give you some pointers.

Quick men, there's fun to be had. Someone go get my party balloons and clown car. We're gonna go break the rules!

If you posted a review in the review section instead of sending it to nilcypher for the contest, it wouldn't be considered.

However you'd be more than welcome to post one in the review section... provided you're able to take some constructive criticism.

I had the same problem last time.

He will let you post it on the forums after the competition, but not during.

I never got around do doing that with mine, though.

If you want your review eligible for the contest you cannot post it here or anywhere else on this site.

I don't want to enter the contest, just wanted the hordes of people mocking my review and the odd one or two perhaps adding helpful suggestions :p

I'll do both! And yeah, just post it on the forum at large, click on User Reviews [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/index/326], then hit up "Create New Topic."

I am sure someone would love to help you edit/talk about your review privately. Try PMing someone whose reviewing style you like. More than likely they'll be open to helping you out. There is certainly no rule against having someone edit your review for you before submitting it.
