How about YOU riddle me this since the 50's had racial segregation, and in fallout the USA's culture locked its self in the 50's was there still racial segregation in the fallout timeline?

Also like people already said EMPs ruined all the Justin Beiber albums I mean the Lady Gaga albums I mean all the J-POP.

Fallouts World and ours splits after World War II that's why.
Also think Vietnam never happened....so this changes the view of our government...

Pre Vietnam - America was friendly and you should be proud

Post Vietnam - They dont care so we should fight back (etc etc Woodstock etc etc)

So American culture is locked in the 50's idea of Jazz and the American Dream, i get that. BUT did they just decide that after the music of the 30's-50's that they didn't need to make anymore? Did NO ONE want to make anymore of it? Were the people of the 2070's fine with listening to music from over one hundred years ago over and over again?
Actually Three dog explains that thats the only music that really survived that could be scavanged. And he only plays that music because its uplifting and proably keeps thousands of people from killing themselves. Its that last spark of joy that keeps people going when the worlds gone to shit around them.

Yeah I don't think there is much explanation on how far fallout universe is linked to reality. I always felt that the retro-futuristic 50's vibe was mainly about the feel more than anything else.
