When I played the Pitt I didn't have any problems....

But get operation Anchorage, some awesome endgame loot.. Pitt... not so much.
Pitt has a great little story to it though as opposed to Anchorage which has none.
Loot>Story.

Which one will last a long time after you've finished the game?

I also had more fun in Anchorage...
I enjoyed the Pitt more for the story and stuff. And the loot is only really notable in the Stealth Suit I find. The rest is pretty much useless to me.

And the moral choice in the Pitt can have a lasting impact in terms of the experience you play through.
And the Gauss Gun.

Don't forget about that lovely lovely gun...Ohh me and Mr. console have spawned all the ammo I want for that precious gun...:D
I dunno, can it possibly beat a full-quality MIRV and 8000 nukes?

No. Not even Batman tag-teamed with Chuck Norris can beat that.
Actually if I bother trying to find my codes, I can make my 10mm pistol do 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 damage per shot.

From which trust me, is a hell of a lot more then your nukes ;)

well OP: Anchorage has better loot as people have been saying, but if you do get both add ons, play through Anchorage first to get the chinese stealth suit, theres some bits at the end of The Pitt that you might want to use stealth to get past rather than kill a fuck-ton of enemys.

Hello fellow gamers, Im in a situation here, and would you kindly help me out (see what I did there)?

I picked up 1600 Microsoft points and planned on getting a fallout 3 dlc, and puzzle quest (the original). I already have point lookout and broken steel and wanted to get one more for the bonus achivements and to reach 30 finally (half a bar away till 29). I read some reviews and heard from a couple people that when the pitt came out, it was rediculiously buggy and basicly unplayable at points. Can someone tell me if by now they have fixed it and its a good download and good to pick up, or should I just get mothership Zeta or Operation: Anchorage?
Yeah it's fixed now, the frame rate is dodgy in parts but it's generally OK.

Do NOT waste your money on Mothershit Zeta. It's horrid.

I never had any problem with the Pitt, but I got it on PC. It's really fun though, so I recommend it.

I wouldn't get any of the other fallout 3 DLC to be honest. There are much better things you can do with the points. If you HAVE to get one I would say operation anchorage, as it gives you the best gear, the downside being that it's short. The pitt has a "meh" story and tedious quests with very little payoff. Mothership zeta is waaay too repetitive and long. It's kind of a cool homage to the classic perspective of aleins, but the novelty runs out far before the DLC is over. Plus that sense of "cool I'm a survivor in a post apocalyptic world" is gone because you're fighting aliens in a space ship with disintigrator rays that go "pewpewpew" when you fire them.

The Pitt is the only DLC I haven't played for Fallout 3, so I couldn't tell you about that one.

If you are looking for loot, Mothership Zeta is full of it. I had to make 3 trips back to the ship just to get it all. There are several more unique items compared to the other DLC too. 3 sets of unique clothing, 6 or 7 unique weapons, and aid that heals +150 by the boat load. And the regular weapons used by the aliens will net you tons of caps if in perfect condition.

Operation Anchorage was a cool experience if you're interested in the backstory of the game (according to Bethesda), but the loot, while strong, is sparse.

My nukes CAN do the same. But nukes are more entertaining then hyper-pistols.

Oh yeah??!!

I can delete people from the code.

Sure it'll crash my game, but hell I've killed the enemy so thoroughly that any weapon in-game fails in comparison.

I did the pitt for the first time just the other day and did not find it that enjoyable. loot wise, as others have said its pretty rubbish, although silenced assault rifles are lovely, and very cool. However, having said that their not so useful without the stealth suit from anchorage.

I also would like to recommend Operation Anchorage. literally,THE 2 best suits of armour in the game(this is non debatable...)and 2 of the best(and coolest) weapons. plus,i personally found it funner than the pitt.

I would avoid mothership zeta, absolutely fantastic loot if your character uses energy weapons, but its seriously boring.

So ye,would recommend Anchorage, but the Pitt works absolutely fine now if thats what tickles your fancy than go with it.

Op. Anchorage. Totalllllly better then The pitt. Unless you feel the need to get a silnced assult rifle.

But anyway, it's going to be laughably easy for you as I did at level 29 too. And I just carved those Trogs into ribbons

I have all the DLC and I gotta say The Pitt was the worst one in my opinion, my favorite was actually Anchorage, mainly for the loot though.

I have the game of the year version of Fallout 3 with all the DLC on disk. And of the 5 add on packs I liked The Pitt the least and I found that it was a bit prone to crashing. Save often.

It's not a question of thoroughness, its a question of how hard you laugh. If doing that makes you laugh too hard, I recommend therapy.
