So, Fallout 4 has been out for long enough for modders to start fixing what Bethesda broke (Looking at you dialogue wheel-o-Bioware!!) and I thought that we should have a reccomendations thread for people here to make modding the game easier.
Plus, I'm starting to see the usual "Weekly mods" videos on Youtube popping up so now is as good a time as any!
The Escapist has also given a list of 8 recommended mods so check here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/video-games/features/galleryoftheday/14987-8-Fallout-4-Mods-for-Early-Adopters] for that if you missed it.
Anyway, my recommendations are:
1. NewDialog: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/619/?
This mod not only acts like FullDialogue but replaces the conversation wheel-o-bioware with the dialogue menu system used in 3 and NV.
2. Craftable Ammo: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/798/?
So, I can mod my weapon any way I want but I can't craft bullets for it? Uhhh... Well this mod fixes that and let's you make any kind of ammo at your Chemistry Station provided that you have the parts for it.
3. Touch of Green: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/377/?
For those who felt that the scrub that you can't clear away is way too brown and dead, this mod makes some of the scrub and grass of Boston a little bit more alive. It doesn't do trees though.
4. Darker Nights: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/191/?
The usual must have mod for masochists like myself that like to stumble around in the dark and trip over sleeping super mutant suiciders.
5. (Un)expected John Cena: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/427/?
This one is mostly here for people who want things a little more silly, it replaces John in the game audio for Codsworth with everyone's favorite, tired wrestling meme.
Bonus: Lowered Weapons: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/522/?
I don't like this for most guns but it's damn near mandatory for the gigantic Institute guns not to take up the entire right hand side of your screen in basic gameplay.
Please feel free to list whatever other mods you want, either from Nexus or Steam Workshop. Let's see if we can keep everyone up to date with the bleeding edge of Fallout 4 mods.
