wow, there's a lot of stuff in there that I've already got, between Project Nevada and weight rebalance... installing this would take some serious tweaking.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but I need some help installing this mod. I've downloaded the zip file just fine, but when I copy its contents into my New Vegas folder it just doesn't work. What did all of you do to properly install it?

Make sure it's under:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data

And tick the relevant box in the pre-launch screen under data/files.

Wow I hadn't heard of this myself, talk about uber-hardcore mode.
