Fallout New Vegas: what did you do with benny? (SPIOLERS)

so yeah, for some reason it just didn't feel right shooting him in the head it felt...hypocritical in a way , I even thourght about letting him escape

I ended up fighting with him one on one in the arena, it felt fair (well then again its not like he was ever going to win)

I havent finished yet so if major spiolers could be avoided that would be much apreciated

Well, the first time I had him help me fight Ceasar. He died in about 10 seconds though...

The second time I was allied with the NCR, so Ceasar's Legion tried to kill me right away. And for some reason they killed Benny too... Weird...

The third time I killed him in the casino you first find him in. Well, him and the entire staff of said casino, because they didn't like it when I waltzed in with a shotgun and blew away all the guards then sniped Benny from across the room.

Erm, my female character got up to his bedroom then killed him.

Entered the Tops. Killed everyone. Got out.

My female character invited him to bed, had sex with him, then suffocated him after that.

My male character walked in, shot him and Boone took over after that.

I was a female character and I used a fusion of Cherchez La Femme and Black Widow to create a hilarious conversation and then get him to have sex with me, then while having sex I killed him.

My male character had a duel to the death with him in the Fort arena.

First time killing him, I played a female character, got him up into his room then attacked and killed him with a straight razor that I smuggled in. After that, just because, I picked up his gun then shot him in the head.
Second time, as a male character, I talked Swank into letting me keep my weapons and slaughtered Benny and his bodyguards with a light machine gun and a couple of plasma grenades.
Third time, again as a female, I seduced him and killed him in his sleep. Then I dragged his body into the bathtub, shot him in the head with his own gun and, since I was catering to energy weapons that time, dropped the gun into the tub with him (staged suicide).
The fourth time was similar to the second, got Swank to let me keep my guns, got Benny upstairs then shot him to death.
For my next play through I'm thinking of letting him get away so that the Legion can deal with him.

Kept letting him go figuring there would be some final confrontation, and there wasn't.

Seriously, that character was useless in that game.

On my first playthrough, I killed him when I caught up to him in Caesar's camp.

Second playthrough? Mowed him down with my mini-gun. Had to fight the casino guards after that, but it was totally worth it.

I've only ever sexed him to death. I'll have to try this arena thing. It sounds interesting.

My first two characters had enough in Speech to get him to agree to a meeting in the Tops suite and for him to head up first, where he got shot in the head (first character) and cut up (second character). My third character challenged him to a duel in Caesar's arena.

Lured him with mah sexy lady and cut him up.

Seems like i was not the only one. What is it with escapists and pretending to be seducing women?

First time, decided I'd try free him. Got a sonic fist to the back of my head for my trouble. Reloaded and shot him in the face.

Next play through, shot him and all his mates in the Tops.

Slept with him, let him escape and fought him to death in the arena.

First time, I let him go. I wanted my character to be merciful.

Second time, I intended on killing him at the Tops. However, I didn't know he wouldn't follow me into the presidential suite (I went in first on my first playthrough). This was an issue to me because I also went into caesar's camp and killed everyone (caesar included) and didn't want to do that again. So I snuck in with stealth boys and killed Benny right in front of everyone at the tent but without them noticing.

Uhhhh he set the plot in motion what do you mean useless? He's the reason you got involved in the storyline in the first place. Also if you let him go Caesar's legion will capture him and then you can face him in the arena. I'm pretty sure that would be considered a " final confrontation".

On my file he got caught in a holy hand grenade explosion along with Caesar and Caesar's guards then i got hit by a wall of corpses.

Anything can set a plot in motion. I guess I'm mostly referring to the fact that they got Matthew Perry to voice him and he's largely an arbitrary character. He's just not that important to the plot beyond the fact that he's just some thug who shoots you in the face at the beginning of the game and then becomes completely irrelevant.
