Indie film ads always try to rope people in with awesomely infectious indie music, so the song was a crucial element of this parody. They knocked it out of the park.

Gonna have to look into them as a band. Thanks =D

Since no one has said this, it's mainly a spoof of Garden State. There's a lot of allusions to Garden State in this trailer, specifically the quote "Did you ever reach that point in your life where you realize the gods you worshiped as a kid weren't your gods anymore?" is altered from a Garden State quote, the shot of Kratos standing still with everyone moving by him, Athena in the swimming pool, the kids jumping into the pool and many others. And yes, the video is awesome. Much rather see this than the real version that is being made which will most likely be very similar to 300.

As awesome as that was, since Kratos is from Sparta he would've been trained to be a solider since the age of 7. Also, I'm not downing this I'm just saying what Kratos's life would've been like.
