casual
with the exception of TESV I always cheat and explore.
although I generally buy the CE of games (except for TESV due to monetary problems I do have the Skyrim pre-order bonus)
actually planning to get the GOTY edition of FONV because it,s cheaper getting the DLC,s that way.

For me, it's a huge combination of lorekeeper (especially in really deep stuff like The Elder Scrolls) and collector (which I'm easing back into with a lot of Square's games, particularly Final Fantasy).

Everything else is typically attendant, because I loves me some LAN parties with a dedicated group I know.

I guess I'm more of a Casual Lorekeeper.

I will never be the one to broach the subject and in casual conversation I'll usually just add my two cents and let the conversation flow as it will.

But if you're actually interested and you really get me started on the lore or history of a property that I'm a "fan" of I will talk your damn ear off.

Hm, it's a tie between Lorekeeper and Casual, for me. I love getting lost in Skyrim's books, but Bethesda RPGs are the only titles where I tend to go apeshit for the lore. Otherwise? Meh, it's all the same "You're some hot shit, go save the world!" structure, repeated ad nauseam.

Splice lorekeeper with casual, and you get me.
Same here. Usually I love background for games and the idea of a fictional world, but very rarely do I massively care about merch or other stuff.

The one I'm most like would be lorekeeper but I do a little of each except casual. How dare you skip a cutscene, every time you watch it you can find something new. Subtle gestures or focusing the background to find little things, or maybe just watching the same scene with a different perspective and foreshadowing but I guess that's part of lorekeeper.

While I enjoy buying things related to my favorite games, I'm also poor so I tend only to pick up a few things. Not to mention I don't find many awesome game collectables, figurines are too expensive and they don't make plushies or wallscrolls (that's more of an anime thing though).

I suck at games so I love finding little tips and tricks to make me a better player but I never explore the mechanics for myself. Such as I have one pokemon I bred for good EV and IV and trained it to be a killing machine, but I wouldn't do that for an entire team.

If I'm in the fandom I wouldn't be a casual. If I enjoy the game I want to enjoy the game from start to end (and if I really enjoyed it 80% completion since I never make it to 100%). There are a few games I'm that sort of casual about but they're far and few between.

depends, some games I play then walk away
some games I'm the lorekeeper, (love a back story)
other games I extend lorekeeper to collector (picking up comics and books to add more story)
and other's, well lets put it this way...

Less of an "attendant," more of an optimizer. I'm big on finding my own way to play the game, and being the best at doing it that way. Part of that is from playing CoD, and not wanting to be the same as every other dude playing.
