Far Cry

I actually quite liked Far Cry 2. Maybe because I hadn't played the others, and wasn't seeing the game through a nostalgia filter.

If you haven't played the original, you shouldn't sound so uppity in presuming that other people are simply nostalgic over it.

OT: Far Cry and Far Cry 2 are different in so many ways, there's little point comparing them beyond which one tailors best to your personal taste.

I enjoyed both, although I didn't get past a certain point in Far Cry and Far Cry 2 just left me angry 3/4 of the way through.

There are moments though when everything is absolutely perfect though.

Far Cry is one of my favourite games. It mixed stealth and action quite nicely.
