I got an F just because i missed ONE ESSAY! ONE!!!!

and my grandmother wont listen to reason, she banned me from everything except books, which i only have two good ones. SO HELP!!! NEED SURVIVAL HELP!!!

I'm going to assume the topic is "Things to occupy oneself with away from the internet" and it's not a goodbye thread.

Time away from the internet can do most people a lot of good.
Too often people seem to get tunnel vision or start thinking of things in an odd light which leads them to have their own little world's interpretations of things.

Listen to your grandmother, who is being kind of unreasonable, and make your sole focus to find a way to make up that essay or whatever you need to do to get your grade fixed.
It does depend on where you go to school but my tertiary teachers were so lax and casual that there were a lot of assignments that could be handed in very late or even after the school year was over.

On another note, some people request for their user account to be banned while they prep for exams or similar things...

Tough break man, you'll be missed. If all you're allowed is books then buy a fuckton of books and read. Then read some more.

1) What grade/level are you in?
2) How much was this essay worth?
3) How were you doing otherwise?

Speaking from experience, I'm at a college level and a single essay can be around 15% of your total grade. Mediore grades otherwise and lacking a full 15% could easily drag you down to an F. Sorry, bro, but this looks to be nobody's fault but your own.

Well, you could try occupying your spare time with drinking, but unless you have the funds to really keep it going, that's just a short term solution. B: Your mark must have been horrible in the first place if you fail over one essay (unless your teacher is that boneheaded).
