That's nothing... I got a 68 on my Spanish II progress report because my teacher forgot that I did a project. Like I got up in class and presented and then she said I was missing it and when I talked to her she was like "Oh yeah, I remember. It was good." But then again it was only a progress report.

Also, go out and buy "Everything is Going to Kill Everybody." It's like the internet in book form plus it's funny and informative.

well, i was absent when they started it for three days, then they took a break from it when i got back and presented a 32 page packet, front and back to work on for the next week or so, during which i got little to no information on the essay.

No excuse though, even at the end where he warned me with like 2 days for an outline, rough draft, peer editing, and final; i still could have found time.

I was hoping that my Grandmother could understand my faults though. :\

All that comes to mind is...DENIED! I have been in similar situations and all you can really do is sit back and shut up, all you need is to make the problem worse and lose more privilages.

Well, just got my report card today. Soooooo BANNED from everything! YAAAAY!!! Just snuck up on here to say goodbye.

I got an F just because i missed ONE ESSAY! ONE!!!!

and my grandmother wont listen to reason, she banned me from everything except books, which i only have two good ones. SO HELP!!! NEED SURVIVAL HELP!!!

1) What grade/level are you in?
2) How much was this essay worth?
3) How were you doing otherwise?

Speaking from experience, I'm at a college level and a single essay can be around 15% of your total grade. Mediore grades otherwise and lacking a full 15% could easily drag you down to an F. Sorry, bro, but this looks to be nobody's fault but your own.

Im not blaming anyone but myself.... although there is that stupid smudge of human wickedness that tries to find another explanation :/

1) 8th
2) probably 40% if you counted the stuff that went with it (outline, rough draft, peer editing, and final)
3) Great, i aced all of my speeches and even did two extra credit ones. (I love impromptu speeches, because its just thinking on the spot)

Ive actually never felt worse.

When i got my progress report, i just sat there holding it in front of me, open mouthed,(man-acid leaking from eye sockets) until i talked with the guy.

He understood me really well, and offered to help me explain it to my grandmother (i have yet to arrange a meeting)

Again, i completly understand that im the one at fault..... but........

don't worry about it, see it as an oppertunity to broaden your knowledge in literature. I guess it sucks not being allowed on the computer but if you're allowed nothing but books this could be a good time to focus soley on one medium which (judging by the "only two books" part) you may have neglected but I could be wrong.
Try something new, whether it's because you've heard good things, enjoyed the film, or simply like the cover or title of the book just give it a go. I truly believe there's something out there for anyone if they're willing to look for it.
Other than that I can only think of suggesting what I'm currently reading which is ms. found in a bottle by Poe, want something different? I have summer lightning by Wodehouse lined up for my next read why not try?

I got thrown out of school because SOMEBODY said I missed 80% of lessons. The problem is that nobody actually CHECKED how many hours was I off.
I'm totally sure it was merely 79% xP

EDIT: Allright seriously though it's quite a pain when you realise that even though you have aced each and every test possible (and I never missed one) you got thrown out because you were too busy to actually go to school on normal days

I take it you didn't actually ask him for help then if you weren't too sure on what you were doing.

If I were you, I would write up that essay for the time you aren't allowed online. Might as well make use of your time.
