Zynga didn't leave facebook yet. The player base decreased because of changes on facebook, not on farmville. What the article failed to say was that facebook itself lost close to 4 million users due to the changes, which subsequently leads to leaving farmville.maddawg IAJI said:I'm not really all that surprised. Zynga decided to take a gamble and hope their player-base would follow them out of Facebook. What they thought was that everyone went to Facebook for them, but they need to learn that people go to a social site to talk to friends and only use Farmville to kill time.

My thoughts exactly. Take away the means by which people can deliberately piss off their friends and the temptation to do it goes away. But that also means fewer people annoyed into playing.rembrandtqeinstein said:Headline should read, "Spammer gets fewer responses when spam becomes harder to send, news at 11"

I thought facebook was supposed to be so people can stay in touch with friends/family/next door neighbors. Not playing more 'games' than talking to people. [Hell, the only time I ever go on farmville is if Tetris isn't working.] Even then.Digikid said:Good.
The less facebook games the BETTER.
