... and we have a winner.

I'd also suggest Seventh Son of a Seventh Son and A Matter of Life and Death by Iron Maiden, but nothing really comes close to Painkiller.

My all-time favorite is most definitely In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel. It's the only album where I can't think of a single thing that could be changed or improved in any way.

Other close seconds:
Tigermilk - Belle and Sebastian
Illinois - Sufjan Stevens
Separation Sunday - The Hold Steady
Oh, Inverted World - The Shins
The Tyranny of Distance - Ted Leo and the Pharmacists
Twin Cinema - The New Pornographers
The Monitor - Titus Andronicus

Unknown Pleasures - Joy Division.
It speaks for itself to be honest. An album that I believe will never age and should at least be in everybody's top 10. And I'm actually pretty disheartened by the fact no one has said it yet.. No brits stuck in the late 70s? eh? eh?

Sepultura - Roots (not as much as I used to, but still good)

Actually pretty much all the Soulfly albums up to and including Dark Ages

Rob Dougan - Furious Angels
Foo Fighters - Skin and Bones
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - By The Way
