News that Chrono Trigger is coming out for IOS and Android got me dusting off my SNES and playing the original again. What's your favorite team? Mine is Frog and Marle

Crono, Marle, and Frog.
Crono because he's Crono.
Marle because she is The Girlfriend and I usually use The Girlfriend. (Also I do like her)
Frog because he's mother-fucking Frog.
Edit: I do like the other characters plenty as well.

I tried to rotate my party members to keep it intriguing and maintain levels. Still Frog and Marle were a stand out team with Chrono. Great healing, offense, physical and magical abilities, and a good variety team attacks. You get the idea. The only problem was that they lacked other elementals like Fire or Darkness. Honorable mention to Magus. Too bad he didn't have any team attacks (without using special accessories)

Chrono Trigger is one of the few RPGs I don't tend to choose an overwhelmingly female team.
For instance, one of my liked teams is Crono, Frog and Magus. Now that I think of it, they're all guys. Very rare for me. I like it because I like the idea of Frog and Magus fighting alongside one another.
Other than that, my most used team is Crono, Marle, and Frog.

I usually prefer Crono, Marle, and Frog, but I switch Crono out for Magus when I have to. Crono and Frog can both do good melee damage (especially with the Rainbow sword for Crono... 70% crit rate and super strong? Overpowered for sure) and decent magic damage, whereas Marle sucks with melee but does great magic damage. Frog and Marle have the dual tech "Double Cure," which heals everyone and cures status, which is always good, and the triple tech "Arc Impulse" can do some serious damage.
Crono, Frog and Robo. The fastest to get their Triple Tech, possessed of enough healing magic and combinations to make up for not having Marle, and all three are powerful scrappers. Super Volt is amazingly strong for when you can learn it and it never stops being a top damage dealer, stronger than Luminaire for less MP.
Oh, that's easy. Chrono, Frog and Magus.
