What game had a cool slogan on its back cover or just an interesting catch phrase that struck you the most?

I always enjoyed on the back of "Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within" it said, "One fate. One million ways to change it." I always thought that was badass.

Um, to me they all sound like 40 year old marketing execs trying to sound "hip" and "with it".

None of them sound actually cool, just like slogans which are supposed to sound slightly stupid.

DEFCON. The subtitle is "Everyone dies."

Pretty much perfect for a game all about nuking as much of the rest of the world as possible.

I hate all of them, I've never seen one I like.

It's all just adspeak, I really do hate that.
I would agree with that, because in PoP:WW there was pretty much only one way to change your fate. It was just adspeak. But I always thought of what it would sound like if some voice-over guy for movie trailers said it. More adspeak..... nevermind haha.

I always thought the slogan for Dead Rising ("Chop 'til you drop") was pretty fucking lame. Still, it doesn't over shadow the fact that Dead Rising can cure cancer.

Morrowind: "Live another life in another world." Yup, that's what us flabby, pale fools are here for. Glad to see Bethesda Softworks knows it.

Never seen one I liked.

Especially the ones that start with "In a world..."

I want to kill whoever started that.

Twinsen's Odyssey didn't have one, and since a better game hasn't come out yet, it appears there will never be a good game slogan ever :O

Theyre adds, if what you remember of a game is the slogan created to sell it, that really says something about the game doesnt it ?

When you take a course in marketing, you begin to appreciate the language and art used to summarize a product and at the same time convince people to buy it. Granted, video games don't have the best marketing slogans, but they have some pretty damn good advertisements in general.

OT: My favorite has to be the Halo 3 "Believe" marketing campaign with the diorama, despite the game being a disappointment. Imo, it was an artistic masterpiece, probably the best I've ever seen an advertisement try to convey a sense of epic proportion, a desperate struggle for survival, out-right terror and awe-inspiring courage.
