Favorite/least favorite sidekick?

What is your favorite sidekick in video games or movies or even TV shows? Or even better, your LEAST favorite? Mine personally is Sheva from RE5. No matter what gun you would give her, she would only use the pistol. She wasted all the herbs you got. My favorite though, was Luigi. I don't even know why...

And yes I'm aware that theres probably a lot of these.

Anyone who says anything else is wrong. He's the best sidekick in any game I've ever played. Unquestioningly loyal, and stays by your side even when fighting enemies the size of skyscrapers. He follows you into the face of almost certain death, and is prepared to sacrifice himself to save your life and allow you to complete your quest. Besides being genuinely vital to gameplay, there are few characters to whom I've felt more emotionally attached.

Favourite: A tie between Midna and Epona.
Midna is cool, funny and helps a lot throughout the game but... Epona carries you on her back, gets shot at, has to help fight Ganondorf, helps rescue Colin, has to fight that fat troll bastard on the bridge, and has to cope with me making her run miles at top speeds...

I think I'll have to go with Epona. <3

Least Favourite: That ***** from Pokemon Colosseum that follows you around and contributes nothing to the story.

And Companion Cube, I hate that fucking thing.

Eh, I'd actually go with Tails for best sidekick... not because he's awesome but because its so fun to deliberately get him into the most appalling situations possible and then laugh meanly. I'm guessing that Mobius lacks a child-protection system.

Anyone who watched the Tails abuse series on youtube (while it was still good) will know what I mean.

On a serious note, I can't really think of any really good sidekicks... Most of them seem to get in the way while I'm trying to kill something.

Best: Elika from Prince of Persia. Has a personality, not bad to look at, and she saves your ass so many times.

Agro FTW!!! I loved that horse, and he really become a major character throughout the game. Plus he never complains.

.... i dont know. Slippy or the duck hunt dog a really annoying. I do think that proxy from star wars the force unleashed was awesome, even thought he was really only a helping sidekick for like 10 secs in a cutscene at the end.

Favorite : I don't know if she could be called a sidekick, but Mona Sax.
Alyx Vance is second, Ashley Williams is third.

Least favourite is Ashley from RE4. Wait, she isn't a sidekick, she didn't actually help you with anything.

Favorite: Midna, her warp powers make traversing Hyrule less tedious, her powers help when you're surrounded by those heartless look alike. Double H and Pey'J from Beyond Good and Evil the best sidekicks ever. Never got stuck in walls or get killed in battle and always ready to use their stun attacks on command.

Worst: Navi, Issun, their only purpose is to act as the voice for Link and Ammy and are as annoying as hell.
