I'm curious to see what the Escapists listen to and, due to the fact that the last poll is from the beginning of October and I don't feel up to necroing it, I felt this would be better:

Simple idea: Toss up some of your favorite music. If you enjoy multiple kinds, drop multiple links/vids

I prefer metal or classic rock, but, more often than not, I like a mix between metal and symphonic music.
Also like some others, just to toss some more songs out...

I prefer the Japanese stuff.
or older english stuff. none of that new crap. <--- This is an opinion, we all have one.

EDIT: And Happy Birthday Naheal! Didn't think we wouldn't notice? We're the Spanish Inquisition!

You're clearly English. And... *checks the clock* Well, hell, it's 0030...

Clarifying edit: You cannot be the Spanish Inquisition if you're English! Ha!

I like a lot of genres, but I have a particular love for classic rock (ie. The Beatles, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd), punk rock (The Clash, Black Flag, Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys), and indie rock (ie. Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Pixies, The Flaming Lips, Radiohead).

Classic rock mostly. And the master of that in my eyes is AC/DC. Of course there is also a lot of Jethro Tull in there as well.

Or Both

But I love every kind of music there is. At the moment i've been listening to a load of Mercyful Fate

Colin Hays

and stuff like that. I'm also partial to some (lots) J-Rock stuff

EDIT: that was accently another post. sorry people...

But no one would expect the Spanish Inqusition to be English? would they?
and as we all know, no one expects the Spanish Inqusition.

Although I worked it out cause I'm of the Irish Inquisition. which wasn't as brutal as the Spanish one. Unless you were a wife. ^_^

Anything that is different from everything else. I get very bored with music very quickly, so I need something that keeps my attention. There are really some of my favorites right now.

(I know the band name is all one word, I wrote it like that, so it is more legible.)

My favourite music ever is Irish and Scottish traditional. I love folk music, John Butler Trio especially.

My favourite band is Korpiklaani, a finnish Folk-Metal band.
