Lately my brother bought FF9 for the Playstation 1 on the internet and i've been playing it for a while and for some reason I like it. I personally swore that I would never play a square game with the excepitons of the Kingdom Hearts games and Super Mario RPG, yet here I am playing. So i've been searching the forums and my own soul (what little there is anywhay) and I don't see a forum describing a favorite Square game forum to see if anyone else shares my confusion. Should I stop or keep playing?

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, for being a brilliant strategy game, or Final Fantasy 6 for it's fantastic story, characters, and overall connection. And Chrono Trigger. For having Frog.

The Kingdom Hearts games are my favourite Square Enix games although I'm also a fan of Crisis Core.

That and all Final Fantasy games are turn based, I hate that

Final Fantasy VIII, because I love it unconditionally and I can't even explain why.

Even when it lets a ruby dragon one hit my entire party...

Final Fantasy 6 (Originally released as Final Fantasy 3 in US).

In spite of Snes graphics, this game manages to maintain a storyline that borders on epic. I never thought I could feel for a 16-bit sprite!

Never played Cross, only Trigger. How does it fare when compared to it's predecessor?


OT: Chrono Trigger and FF6.
At a close third is Final Fantasy VII.
