Really Really Big Man and/or Powdered Toast Man. For obvious reasons.
Ha!! Rocko's Modern Life FTW!!! (I never watch Ren and Stimpy as a kid, it freaked me out... >_>) Also Battle Angel Alita!!

Ahem, anyway, my favorite super heroes are the X-Men. :p Of the millions and millions of mutants Marvel has put out over the years my top three are Chamber (Gen X), Gambit, and Emma Frost.

The Golden Age Sandman Wesley Dobbs. He was plagued by dreams, he spent his nights battling the occult and insane killers wearing a trenchcoat and gas mask. His weapon of choice was a gas gun. Great chararcter, with two completely different sides. As Dobbs, he was meek and unsure. As Sandman, he knew no fear.

Honorable mention to Green Lantern, Hal Jordan. Was my favorite for years as a child.

If we're talking in terms of pure badassery and awesome, it's V all the way.

But in terms of superheroes with whom I've actually been able to identify, it's got to be Nite Owl.

Batman. As for why, I think it's the lack of "superpowers." He's just a guy in peak physical shape with years of all kinds of different training and a vast fortune at his disposal. I mean, theoretically, this could happen, not that it ever would. (But it's a lot more likely than a mutant bug bite, medical experiment gone awry, radiation-induced powers, etc...)

Deadpool: anybody who can call strangling Santa with barbed wire while he's driving an 18-wheeler and call it just another day has to be one of the best super-heros ever.

I have my own Green Lantern Ring, among several dozen other collectible items relating to the character. I love comics, and this most recent run has been my favorite green lantern yet.

Hmm, it's a close tie between Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark. I just like how they are both crazy rich guys.

Although if its real superpowers you want then it has to be Thermoman.

The Comedian from Watchmen an anarchic American hero, like Captain America fused with Heather Ledger's Joker, a truly rare chaotic good character. He's seen the darkside of mankind and doesn't give a damn.
Good? I think you need to brush up on your 2nd and 3rd edition D&D he's Chaotic Neutral most likely.

To anyone who says a Watchman character they are NOT super heroes they are Costumed Heroes or Costumed Adventurers (they refer to themselves as such) unless it?s the good Doctor.

Well it depends. If you mean series I got to say the Amazing Spider-Man partly because of his rogues gallery. He can never just fight a guy in a costume it?s always his best friend, his ex-girlfriend?s dad, or a puppy he raised. Spider-Man is neurotic something I can identify with.

Spiderman has always been my favorite. Followed closely by Iceman from the X-men and Batman.

I agree with this, and the Comedian is my favorite hero, but I always thought that he has an evil bastard.
