That's Lieutenant Kim Kitsuragi
Oh…Is he a gyrobot then?

*edit*. Guess not, but it was a wild guess (never played DE).

Kat from Gravity Rush.

It's less her as a character that I like so much and more that she's an unabashedly (and relatively not sexualized) girly girl in what is ostensibly an open-world superhero game.
I really want more playful characters like this in AAA games and less self-serious, brooding types.

Yeah I used Kim Kisaragi as an avatar because I ffound Disco Elysium to be quite insightful and shaped my change to be more woke and look for wokeness no matter wherever it is.
I’ve yet to play it but am intrigued; especially since its RPG elements are said to be really good.

*Edit* and just like that my Google feed drops this in my list -

They’re onto me, no question about it now.

I do really love that there is combat, but it's a very small part of the game. In fact, there's a "boss fight" where you're basically sitting in a chair having an discussion with someone and he can kill you by destroying your ego with his verbal barbs. It's fucking surreal.

Also, resist the urge to save scum. You can fail a lot of the dice rolls and still complete the game, because there's other ways to solve the problem most of the time. You may not get the optimal path but you'll eventually reach the end if you're trying to take care of yourself and not actually like a total idiot all of the time. Roll with the bad dice rolls.

ESPECIALLY if you do the Karaoke quest. In fact, the "bad" end to that quest is arguably far better then the "good" one.

Importantly, you can re do roll when you mess up by increasing your stats, some roll I tried like 5 times for some of them, there's only a few critical roll. (although that comment is like a year old so might not be super helpful).

On topic, Mint from thread of fate is such a blast. She's a complete idiot whose first instinct in any situation is to just dropkick it. She's selfish and greedy and the few time she helps people out she complain about it the entire time. Her goal is world domination just so she can show off to her sister. She blame the bad guys for everything bad that happened to her, only to find out the bad guy is blameless, yet still beat the crap out of him because why not.

The game had two protagonist, the other one is a pretty standard story so because of that they were able to take more risk with Mint and make her more than the usual generic protag, great fun.

The best daddy in gaming ever!

Best dads? Okay:

-Dr. Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog, in regards to SAGE)

-Deckard Cain (Diablo)

-Elbert (Fire Emblem)

-Barry Burton (Resident Evil)

-Marcus Fenix (Gears of War)

-Joseph Capelli (Resistance)

-James McCloud (Star Fox)

-Kanbei (Advance Wars)

-Grimm (Army Men)

-Dunban (Xenoblade)

-Lee Everett (Walking Dead)

(There seems to be a lot more worst dads than best dads, but meh, wrong thread.)

I'll give credit to Barry Burton, Lee Everett, Eggman, James McCloud, and Fenix, but the rest I don't know, and you forgot about Harry Mason. Asura is still the best dad in gaming!

Trevor from GTA5. Such balls out lunacy, got to respect that.

Zevran from Dragon Age. His cheeky Spanish accented lines were the only thing I liked in that game. That and watching Duncan die, except that was tinged with regret at not getting to kill him myself.

Raoul from Fallout. Danny Trejo.

Indrick Boreal from Dawn of War. Spehs Mehreens!

Ayame from Tenchu. If I had a video game waifu, I guess it would have to be her. Sneaking around and slitting throats, my kind of girl.

Commissar Holt from Final Liberation. They really got that one right, felt exactly like what a 40k commissar should be.

My favorite FPS protags.
Favorite FPS protags? Well, I suppose I could take a shot at it:

-Booker DeWitt (BioShock)
-Nick Parker (Command & Conquer)
-Doom Slayer (Doom)
-John-117 (Halo)
-Jan Templar (Killzone)
-Mjolnir Recon 54 (Marathon)
-Lena Oxton (Overwatch)
-Joanna Dark (Perfect Dark)
-B.J. Blaskowitz (Wolfenstein)

Honestly, I could include more, but in terms of personality, a lot of FPS are firing blanks, if you know what I mean.

I think I know what it is, it's the kind of goofy straightman aspect of how he acts in missions. He'll dress up in anything yet doesn't change how he talks to try to fit his disguise.
He does adjust his overly alarming innuendos to each pretend role, though.
