Favorite Videogame Theme Song?

The theme for Metroid Prime sooooo much. It's not just that the song is incredible, but that it feels alien/organic/futuristic and sets the mood for the game so well.

I love that one, but I also loved the one for Echoes, so since you got in with Prime, I'll go with Prime 2!

I honestly flip between the two all the time. Never really can decide

I'm also fond of the Phendrana Drifts, Chozo Ruins, and Bryyo themes.

It's all good, the Metroid Prime trilogy has an amazing soundtrack, have you heard of Harmony of a Hunter? It was a Metroid 25th anniversary collection of music made by fans, it's awesome and full of all kinds of music too. It all flows as one big music piece as well, if you don't have it on shuffle XD

Trigger is more nostalgia while Cross's opening is just epic.

A thousand times this. Bastion has one of my favourite soundtracks and the end theme is sublime after playing it through.

My brain is going blank now that you mentioned bastion. damn.

YES! Both of these! Nothing feels more alien than that weird techno-like squirmiling sound, and I love getting pumped up to go tromping about Skyrim by listening to the main theme! So much better than the softer and slower renditions for Morrowind and Oblivion. I never feel as epic as I do from either of those the way I do for Skyrim's version. FUS ROH DAAAH!

...Alright, my post is getting really long, so I better finish it up with a few favorites of my own. *Ahem* I think a few of my favorites would be the ever-iconic World 1-1 theme from Super Mario Bros., the main theme to Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, Will's theme (We Will Prevail) from Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, No More Heroes' Main Theme (SOOO good), and MadWorld's Get It Up...How's that for a VGM list?
