Corey Taylor - Slipknot
Shaun Smith - The Blackout
Aled Phillips - KidsInGlassHouses << replaced with Hayley Williams from Paramore
Dave McPherson - InMe
Jesse Lacey - Brand New << replaced with Howard Jones from Killswitch Engage

EDIT: I had a bit of a re-think

1. Freddie Mercury - One of the most incredible voices ever.
2. Howard Jones - Singer with Killswitch Engage, easily has the best voice in metal of current times.
3. Hayley Williams - Her stunning looks overshadow her brilliant voice which she is not given a great deal of credit for, I feel.
4.James Hetfield - His gravely, growling tones helped give Metallica their distinguishable sound and his voice just seems tailored perfectly to their style of metal.
5.Angela Gossow - You find me another hot blonde that can sing/scream like her in Arch Enemy. Go on I dare you.

Peter Tägtgren from Hypocrisy, he's great on both their early and more recent albums
Peter is awesome, which is why it's unfortunate that no one here in America knows anything about him. I like PAIN more than Hypocrisy, though. Not a big death metal fan.

1st one's more shouty, 2nd one's more singy =D
She's not as deep voiced as Miss Gossow but still she's a blonde, she's hot (arguably) and she sings + screams

Randy Blythe(Lamb of God)- Best pure metal vioce of this generation. Remember kids, to sound like this you gotta smoke a pack a day!
George Corpsegrinder(Cannibal Corpse) - I dare say the most "brutal" vocals I've heard in ages.
Jimmy Urine(MSI) - Boy can he hit them falsettos, not to mention his basically a rapper he sings so fast.
Dave Mustaine - Need a say more?

For me, it's David Draiman of Disturbed fame. Slow, fast, deep, high, heavy, light, he does it all great.

And of course, Bing Crosby.

Ah she's not bad, but she doesn't communicate the same raw brutality as Angela. I was more getting at the fact that you just wouldn't expect a woman to sound like she does, at all. I honestly thought it was a bloke singing in Arch Enemy before I saw one of their videos.

I also thought the ArchEnemy singer was male lol
Curiousity: do you pronounce it ark-en-em-ee or arch-en-em-ee?

David Draiman from Disturbed. Disturbed are great for hard rock. They haven't gone over the line to screamo (which I hate) so I still have faith in them.
