I'd have to say Relic, Maxis up until their recent misadventures with Spore and SimCity Societies, and Bethesda. Blizzard develops good games, but I wish they would at least put some effort into customer support, if they'd do that then they'd make my list of favourites. I like Valve for their DLC, but I find them to be overrated at times and the community gets elitist enough that they drive me away.

Agreed on Tim Schafer above. Anything he touches seems to turn to gold.... Shame about the old Lucas Arts going the way of Black Isle. Oh, Black Isle are pretty fine.
