NONE. There is no such thing as a good escort mission. In analogy form: Finding a good escort mission is like finding a ten-legged super monkey dinosaur.

I like to latch guys on motorcycles to the ones in heavier vehicles. That way they drag their poor biker buddies down the road at high speeds to his grisly doom as a mile-long smear.apsham said:Just Cause 2 does them pretty well. There's the obvious "protect the technician" missions, but I enjoyed the very first real mission that places you on the roof of a car as the person you are trying to protect drives.
That's when I first found the "grapple hook a car in pursuit and then the road in front of it" trick. Oh god. So awesome.
Yeah, that mission blew my mind. I was all, "ZUh-WHAaa?!?"tomtom94 said:Best: The Hooded Man mission from Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Basically, you have to snipe assassins and monsters to save your past self. I think that counts as an escort mission.
(It's a damn hard one though).
I love your avatar.Casual Shinji said:- snip -
Every time I tried an escort mission on Morrowind, my escort would end up disappearing somewhere. I only managed to get one NPC to their destination without them ditching me halfway there. I would go really slowly, keeping an eye on them, and then suddenly *poof!* they'd be gone.manaman said:Escort missions are never fun. So let me tell you about the worst ones.
Morrowind. Everyone has such a raging love-on for that game that nobody ever bothers to mention that other characters move at the breakneck speed of a <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tfsL9Kq8R8>three toed sloth trying to cross a road. Which is a tiny bit faster then your character moves when you first get of the boat.
I don't know how many times I lost a character in a remote part of the map and had to backtrack, hoping beyond hope that I would run into the character and not have to restart from the last save I had where they where near me. These searches usually ended with the little blurb that the threads of prophecy have been broken.
