Favourite Fallout 3 moment!

Generally every time I caused an explosion bigger than a Mini-Nuke. A particular highlight would be when I went back to Megaton after setting off the NON-mini nuke they used to have there.

I was just looking at the blackened, smoking crater, thinking, "Well, that's ONE way of getting that annoying Moronia Brown to shut her yap!"

Guess what happened next...

You deserved it. Moira Brown was my favorite character.

killing Fawkes when I was at level 30.
it took about 13 shots with the fat man, all my ammo from the gatling laser, most of my alien blaster shots and 3 nuka grenades but he finally went down. I think I used up 80 stimpaks in that fight and it killed the entire outside population of megaton. I'm pretty sure the only easy way to kill Fawkes at a high level is to leave him in megaton when you nuke it. Has anyone tried that? I wanna know.

I read somewhere that there's a 50/50 chance that your follower will die if you do that. I've tried it a couple of times with Dogmeat, and once with Clover.

I think Dogmeat died one of the times. I can't remember whether I reloaded my game because I missed him... or because that "Dogmeat has died" - message ruined my view of the blast!

Oh yeah, if your followers DON'T die, they'll be waiting for you outside Megaton where the caravans usually stop.

I believe I may have one of the best...

I had been saving up a TON of Mini-Nukes planning on selling them for a ton of caps. Instead, I stumbled upon the experimental MIRV...heh. Canturberry Commons, Megaton, Big Town, Tenpenny Tower, the Capital Building, GNR, The Republic of Dave, and every other damn settlement in the wasteland never saw it coming. >
