Favourite Fallout 3 Quest

"The Velvet Cutain" was the only quest that I enjoyed, so I guess that makes it my favourite by default.

This would be my favourite quest too.

It was unique in the fact that it didn't involve any interaction with any living thing whatsoever.

That was actually one of the main reasons why I liked it so much.

I can't remeber the name,but I remember you need to fix a train in a huge metro station with ghoul reavers.
Missle launcher+ghoul reavers=Missle festival.

my favorite from the DLC is the assault on Adams Air Force Base
Ignoring the DLC, my favorite would have to be Tranquility Lane (evil path) or Galaxy News Radio

I didn't have a real favorite quest (I'd guess I'd say the ending with Liberty Prime) but my favorite parts were entering the abandoned vaults and finding out what happened

I liked the Republic of Dave and messing with their elections a lot, but I'm not sure that was an official quest, so I'm gonna go with the Replicated Man. The random encounters/interactions were much better than the official quests as a whole though

The sucky ones were Blood Ties, Agatha's Song, The Replicated Man, and The Power of Atom.

Tranquility Lane, Reilly's Rangers, and Operation: Anchorage. My least favorite quests were Blood Ties and the one in Greyditch with the fire-ants (I can't remember the name).

Operation: Anchorage(The quest), It was just fun, I liked raiding the trenches and all that. Non-dlc would be Take it Back, it was just a cool way to take back The Jefferson Memorial.

Escape From Paradise saw me in a cutthroat slaver ring trying to be sneaky and rescue some kids. Doing that the stealthy way was a lot of fun. Tranquillity Lane I found very creepy, and You Gotta Shoot ?em In the Head for its travelling and, like 3-Dog says, meeting some of the wasteland?s most colourful characters. DLC favourite has to go to Free Labour which has the best moral choice I?ve yet seen in a game.

My least favourite was The Super Human Gambit which even for the game, had a tone I didn?t like. Also, I hated most of Mothership Zeta.

I actually really liked Big Trouble in Big Town. It was simple and short, but you really felt like you were helping those people. The way you had built your character determined how you trained the residents to defend themselves.

I also really liked The Superhuman Gambit. You felt like you had genuine choices in how you handled the situation.

Ok...ok, jeez it's been awhile since I played that game, let me think...I guess I'll go with, you gotta shoot them in the head, if only because it lets you get some nice power armor if you do it right, also scamming that guy is funny, satisfying and profitable. I dunno running around gathering stuff for other stuff may sound like a textbook definition of bland but I thought that it gave a bit of an epic feel...also there was me messing around with that computer with the launch codes that leads me to believe that I seriously fucked up a bunch of people's lives somewhere in the world.

You gotta shoot em' in the head was my favourite too. Being told just to collect keys from known ghoul/zombie haters by - ironically - shooting them in the head made me just know something was up. Being a charming bastard, I sweet talked my way into acquiring the keys then followed that guy, on foot, across the entire map to that bunker.

Ganked him in the doorway then collected the loot for myself.

Also, typing in the launch codes for the ICBM was very satisfying. Wonder where it landed ...

It's a toss-up between two for me. Riley's Rangers (like about 90% of others apparently). I stumbled upon them entirely by accident while exploring DC, so I kind of did it reverse - effectively completed the quest before I met the quest giver.
I can't remember what it was called, but the one with the conscious tree was sweet. The tie-in with the first 2 games is really cool.

Riley's Rangers kept me up on an all-night marathon. From the time I picked up the emergency signal to the time I actually made it to the end I felt a sense of urgency. The ending and rewards were both perfect as well. It was just a really tight, well-done quest.

Wasteland Survival Guide would be a very close second. It was one of the first quests I did though and I didn't understand how the game worked at the time (i.e. didn't know they would hand-feed you the coordinates on missing things if you activated the quest). Ended up missing the medical supplies because I just didn't see the box. Still loved it.

I love the Reilly's Rangers quest. Finding Reilly unconscious in Underworld, looking for her crew trapped on top of a building, fighting to the top, and then fighting my way back out. You always feel good for tacking the ammo to them and getting everyone out alive. Not to mention the armor they give you is REALLY good.

It's the one where you try and getting it working on your computer.
Such a long quest, and you do truly need skill to get through it.

I failed that quest.

So I got the Xbox360 GOTY edition and gave my PC copy to my cousin.

None of them stuck out for me. If it was NV I would say For Auld Lang Syne. I like how they show more of the Enclave then "Bad guys, Kill them." If I had to say one for 3 it would be Take it Back, because it's a big fucking robot.

Anything involving Liberty Prime, be it machinima or quest.

The only way New Vegas could be better than it already is is if Liberty Prime somehow ended up in the Mojave.

He KIND of does. If you go into Camp Golf, you'll find a portrait of Mr House standing in front of Liberty Prime. It's the closest you'll get, I'm afraid. Still, I love that kick-ass robot.

OT: Favourite mission...hmmm, you know, I'll say the one I made for myself. When the hitmen came and tried to kack me and I murdered their faces with an MIRV, and the letter said that the bounty was posted by a Mr...well, you know (don't know how to do spoilers yet, sorry), I took it upon myself to find You-Know-Who and make an example of him. That was a fun "quest".

Tenpenny Tower is my favorite. I loved the sting in the tail. I ended up feeling like Joshua in WarGames.

getting the super mutant F. somthing his name was and he was so happy with his minigun when he tried to save me, was worth the look on his big grin.
