It is really tough, but in the end I will say the game I spent over 700 hours on. Battlefield, Bad Company 2.

Assassins creed 2. I wouldn't say its the BEST game ive ever played ( Half-life 2 snatches that by a mile), nor is it the game iv'e played the most in my life (Warcraft 3, something about DotA never gets old), but something about that game is so likable. Its not as mind-numbingly awesome as Half-Life, nor as immersive as DotA. But something about that game awakens memories untouched

Its hard to nail just one. At the moment Uncharted 2: Among Thieves felt like a masterpiece when it comes to action adventure games. Its a genre that seems to be dying off due to sandbox and fps shooters being the norm with games like these.

I've got to say Ar Tonelico. They take a bunch of common things in JRPGs and throw them out the window making their own battle system, language, and making the characters very distinct. Besides they focus on music and that for me is a big plus.

I would have to say either Dead Rising 2, for being in every way better than the original, or Super Mario Bros. 3, because it is probably the best Mario game ever made. There are a lot of games I could think of, but I tried to put down only 2.

WOW!

THIS THREAD HAS TOTALLY NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE!

OT: I unno, Bully [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bully_(video_game)], I guess, it was hilarious, fun and immersive.
dude i just made an acoount,
I know, but surely you could have taken 10 seconds to type the thread name into the search bar and see how many of these god-damn "Wahts ur fav gaem evar" threads are made every bloody day....
hey, I have an idea! How about next time you see a thread like this, instead of clicking on it, with the sole reason to just complain about it, just move on and don't bother with it!

Problem solved :D

OT: My favourite game was Fallout 3. I spent the most hours on it, and it was super fun to play. I just like the free roam aspect in games I guess. Although I don't like Fallout: New Vegas as much...

I like Half Life. The puzzles, combat and level design all pulled me in like no other game has since. Although Ocarina of Time is a close second.

Right now? Magic: The Gathering, as in the actual cards

Pulled a Koth of the Hammer from a booster pack last night just before Friday Night Magic started, was well chuffed. Put him straight into my deck.

P3P (PSP) because I have an affinity for games that reward my willingness to engage in repetitive actions. I also have a great appreciation for media which maintains a pervading sense of mystery and foreboding.

While I love Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed and all them, I'm gonna have to go with Interstate '76 (with Time Crisis as a close second) because I thought the storyline was cool, the gameplay was amazing, and it's a game never really been done again. I mean, car combat, sure, in arenas and games with no real plot. Twisted Metal is Mortal Kombat in cars. And also, this one gets serious nostalgia points, I've often thought of buying an old windows computer just so I can play it again.

Tales of Symphonia always claims its place as my favorite game of all time. It's about 40 hours long (just doing the main quest and a couple of side quests) but it's worth every minute of it. Plus, it's the only game to have made me cry. And not just once, twice in ten minutes.

I sort of have to say Ocarina of Time because of the impact it had on my childhood and gaming, but the game that I just never get sick of and does everything close to perfectly is Resident Evil 4. Had the Gamecube version myself and I still replay it just for fun. Such a great experience.

For me, it would have to be Uncharted 2. Look beyond the supremely pretty graphics and there's a solid shooter and platformer behind there, with a gripping story to boot.

Daikatana, I mean whats not to love about the game!?
The game realistically portrays the intelligence of an average person and also throws some light on the topics of not being dependent on anyone by the addition of side kicks who cannot be trusted.
Oh and the story! Don't even comment upon it. The story was a masterfully crafted artistic design! Just the introduction of the character Superfly Johnson brings a tear to the eye.
I will not spoil it for anyone else though know this, the game must be experienced to be believed.
These are the above reasons I love daikata(apart from being a troll)

It's difficult for me to narrow down just one game, but if I was forced to I would go with..

..Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

There was just something about it; the voice acting, gameplay, setting, atmosphere, factions, characters, story, dialogue and humour.

Other great games would be the original Crash and Spyro games, Dynasty Warriors 4, Ratchet and Clank series, jak and Daxter series, Resistance: Fall of Man and Fallout: New Vegas.

For PC it's definately Dawn of War and the expansions.
Wow i completely forgot about spyro! i freaking love it! always have! D: mercenaries is definitely a fun game although i dont like the ragdoll physics in it xD
