KONTROLL

Best film ever made.
Out of interest is it that hungarian film set on an underground train station? Involving a killer that pushes people onto the track?
Yep. It's superb.

I don't exactly know what counts as indie or not. I love Weirdsville and Slackers. Those seem appropriate. Elephant was also great.

Reservoir Dogs

Pulp Fiction

Bubba Ho Tep

Mean Creak- The first serious role I've seen Josh Peck in. After seeing him in Drake and Josh, it was quite a shock to hear him swear and bully kids. Nonetheless, it was an incredible movie with some very talented young actors. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great film.

The Signal- One of best horror films I've seen in years. Starts out with a pretty tense beginning, and only goes full throttle from there. Full of gore, extremely dark humor, and some memorable performances. A must see for any horror fan, or for anyone looking for a unique take on the horror genre.

I believe Mongol was an indie movie too. One of my favorite movies of the year.

Memento and Ravenous (Not a favorite but worth mentioning) plus a few others already suggested. Big ups to The Proposition being mentioned. The most non-traditionally badass movie I know of. Funny all three of these have Guy Pearce...

Harvie Krumpet or The Mysterious Geographical Explorations of Jasper Morello.

Both are 40-minute long short films.

See them if you get the chance.
