Invaders must die by The Prodigy

It just sounds cool to me and I have noticed it used in movie trailers randomly in the background.

I really like that song.
I'm gonna second that.
I'm also going slightly off topic to say a thank you for pointing out Lights' stuff in another thread. You went an' got me hooked on her stuff.

Bringing the topic back to... on...
Spiralmouth's stuff's different to say the least, due to it being all a cappella. I'd only recommend the stuff they did for Crash Twinsanity though because, after doing a quick search for them, I found out they actually did some quite dirty stuff.
But hey, if you're into that, added bonus I guess.

No problem. I'm glad I could spread her music to other people!

I just want an excuse to post more crystal castles :) Probably one of their less known songs but easily one of their best.

Also TRON!

I'm happy to here someone mention voltaire.

Silversun Pickups

Skinny Puppy (Why don't I ever hear people mention these guys???)

Depeche Mode (WTF doesn't anyone mention these guys)

and Voltaire!

Not really underground bands, but good ones that I never see get mentioned.

I present to you the chorus of Streetlight Manifesto's "Point/Counterpoint"
I have a gun in my hand,
But the gun won't cock.
My finger's on the trigger,
But that trigger seems locked.
And I can't stop staring at that tick-tock clock.
But even if I could I would never give up.
With a vest
On my chest,
A bullet in my lung!
I can't beleive I'm dying with my song unsung!
If and when I die,
Won't you bury me alone?
'Cuz I'll never get to Heaven if I'm singing this song!
[Cue the brass instuments!]

Can't wait to finally see them live! These guys are the shit, and yet, hardly anyone I know talks about them. Makes me sad :-(

QOTSA: Burn the Witch. Seriously that riff is so catchy and the song is really fun to play on any instrument

Well, i listen to mostly instrumental music, so my favourite unknown tune is "The United Federation of Planet's Theme" and in a very VERY close tie with it is "I am Lincoln" form the movie 'The Island'

I present to you Beach House.

It makes me sad at how few people actually know who this band is because the music they make is just awesome. Its so compelling and emotional yet I never hear anyone else talk about them unless I'm the one bringing them up.

The modern leper, by frightened rabbit, I've known them since I met them all at my local venue, they're now supporting snow patrol, but still alot lesser known.

I got another two:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Yrwzi3clPQ

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb-MyKTlP2A

Origin of the Species and Livin' at the corner of dude and catastrophe by MC Frontalot, not a lot of people like nerdcore, but I think it's awesome :) Plus they're available as DLC on Rockband so why not?

Bow to the nerdcore rising!
