Favourite shout?

The ice one and the disarm one are both really useful, but Unrelenting Force is the only one I have on level 3, and knocking an enemy back and paralysing them is always fun. Especially when I did it to a group of bandits on a narrow bridge a long way up.

The one that gives zero bonuses what so ever. Its a Talos thingy, its quite hilarious.

My Talos' Amulet gives me 20% reduction on the length of time before a shout is usable again. Maybe it was fixed in a patch?

I'm going to mod it back to that, I don't care, that was hilarious. It wasn't the amulet, it was the shout itself, I don't really know. No god power for someone who had his mother raped by a dragon before marriage.

There is something very satisfying with shouting "FUS RO DAH!!" as much as possible (both in game and in real life) so I think that's my favourite.

My favorites are the Ice Form and Slow Time(very useful).

At the beginning I have used Unrelenting Force and Whirlwind Sprint more often to more around the world faster.

Ive only found 8 so far, but my favourite so far is Storm Call... It creates a badass lightening storm, doesnt really do much but like i said, makes you feel like a total badass.

Where do you find the word walls for that shout? I can't find it.

Once you clear the dungeon, there's an exit where you somehow end up on top of a mountain, and i *think* there was a dragon guarding it, if you havent found it already, i'll try and tell you for sure later today when i have time to go back into the game.

I have a question: Where do I get the dragon soul that unlocks Marked for Death? I have two of the words for it, but I still need the soul to unlock it.

Just because no one else has said it: THROW VOICE!
At first I thought it was pretty useless especially as I'm not a stealth character, but then I started playing around with it and it's brilliant!
It attracts people to where you send it. I use this for pulling people out in the open so I can sneak attack them with my bow. Another hilarious use is to lure people into environment traps. It's just awesome killing 4-5 necromancers by luring them into a boulder trap and crush them haha

Force Balance Push; the starter and my favourite (followed by fire breath) - If a corpse is in a road or something I just shout at it to clear the way (I take RPG to the extreme with TES, ME, DA & Fallout). But sometimes it's brilliant just to shout someone off a cliff when the think I'm a random traveller they can take; then watch pitifully as their companions try to avenge them only to be gutted like a fish by my flame antronach & duel wielded dagger/sword.

Wait until you get the higher levels of it and then get into a fight with a load of giants and mammoths. Run away and let the sky do the work!

I used it against a dragon on Sunday......took it out in about 10 seconds with some huge lightning strikes!!

Fire breath is fun. I imagine it wouldn't be particularly interesting to a magic user, espicially destructive, but for my thief it's pretty awesome to occasionally yell at someone and have them set on fire.
In all honesty though I don't find the shouts all that useful considering that I'm pretty much constantly sneaking around. Shouts tend to attract attention. There is one which lets you throw your voice and its generally used to get people distracted so you can sneak by but it doesn't always work like that.

You need to spend a dragon soul for each of the three words of a shout.

Hmm.. thats odd then because i know for a fact i got the second word for 'marked for death' from the dark brotherhood sanctuary, but its not showing the second word, or the ability to unlock it.

mostly because you can comepletly upgrade it simply by doing a couple Greybeard quests

i do have ten shouts already and i'm only level 15
been killing dragons over and over, time after time, without difficulty
and i have no idea why it's this easy

I have two words, but I can't use it. I have like 10 dragon souls. It just says "needs dragon soul". I may be missing something obvious here. I didn't see the "unlock shout" option. Yep, I'm a moron.
