Austrian Death Machine - kinda screamy but the guitar is excellent.
Judas Priest
Disturbed
Zandelle (just the latest album. The songwriting is awesome on that one).
hahaha the first one made me laugh so hard
Lol. It is true, though. Just cause its a parody doesn't mean that that it's not good.

Hollywood Undead- Young
Alestorm- Leviathan
Disturbed- Land Of confusion
Lostprophets- We are Godzilla, you are Japan
Megadeth- Rust In Piece...Polaris
Rage Against The Machine- Sleep Now In the Fire

If you don't like any of them, then I reject your taste in Rock
I wouldnt call that rock, more like metal
Tomato, tomato.
Actually that really doesn't work without accents
Okay, you are splitting hairs here. Most rock today is pop, metal or emo in disguise. I don't consider anything past the millennium to be rock
Even if, the songs do kick balls all the same

Hmm, have a feeling this thread has been done before, use the search bar, maybe?

But, OT to OP, a few of my fav songs are going to have to be:
Faunts' "M4 Part II",
Seppuku Paradigm's "Eden"... I could go on but I want an early night :p

Any song of James Blunt is great.
I don't know what to say. I'm truly, deeply horrified.
I didn't know you were so easily horrified GreyFox.

but then again, I suppose, in categories of music, I listen to 'Other'.
which wouldn't be Blunt.
Let me know how that works out.
It's a strange thing. I grew up watching horror films and the like, so I'm unfazed by gore.
Infact, I love gore and blood. hehehe.
but somethings just set me to freak out...
.. Like the thought of Giant Fucking Lego Blocks. I came out in a cold sweat just thinking of it. but people wouldn't understand. I can be paralysed by certain thoughts. that used to be one of them. and I don't know why.

but James Blunt, he just grates on me. One of my eternal enemies, he is considered to be.

The Eels - try anything off the souljacker album (Souljacker part 1, That's not really funny, What is this note, Dog Faced Boy, Bus Stop Boxer.) They have alot of good music. If you can't find what you like with those try song other of there songs Flyswatter is cool as is tremendous dynamite and prizefigther also Last Stop: This Town is one of my fav's. Just try random songs by them your bound to find something you like, they have very varied songs.
not that known are they?
They kinda are... mainly from the Shrek soundtrack I'd imagine, but yeah, they're far from obscure. If you're having trouble finding their stuff, that might be because they're just Eels (usually written EELS or eels), not The Eels. Their best songs are 'Mr E's Beautiful Blues', 'Last Stop: This Town', 'Climbing To The Moon' and 'The Sound Of Fear'.
They're also in American Beauty, almost every song on the Yes Man soundtrack is thiers, and one of thier songs is in the trailer for Hot Fuzz.
Also Those are really good ones, I couldn't say my favorite because alot of thier stuff is so varied it's apples and oranges but I gave my recomendations 'cuz he said "rock 'n roll" is what he listened to so I mentioned the rocky stuff that first jumped to mind.
And I know it's usualy just EElS but When I'm refering to them I'm just use to saying The in the regaurd, so I usualy just up saying The Eels.

Saints Row 2 suprisingly had a couple of metal gems for such a 'gangster' game. Hell, the only complaints I have against it tend to be trivial..

Anyways, show and tell time.

Hums - Stars

Machine Head - Message in a bottle(cover), The blood the sweat the tears, davidian, Old, Imperium, A thousand lies, Halo, Crashing around you, Aesthetics of hate (Big machine head fan here)

Rage against the machine(On a machine roll here, bare with it) - To many songs to count, if you don't mind rap vocals.. The guitar work is superb.

Machinae Supremacy - Through the looking glass, overworld

The offspring - Go pick a song, listen to it, any one of theirs are great practically.

Rammstein - Du hast, ich will, mein teil, keine lust

Muse - Uprising

EDIT: Chicken..motherfucking..foot. Chickenfoot. Seriously, the name might sound retarded but they're a relatively competent group whom just put out an album not to long ago. One their tour stops happened to be in my area when I first heard of the.
